Looking for Suggestions: Sheer Pantyhose or Tights with some Compression on the legs
chycky replied to OutsideMatchInside's topic in The Gals' Room
Ok I don't have skin issue but have needed hose for compression/circulation. I have found the spanx high waisted sheers to be fabulous for compression from waist to toe. They definitely feeel more all over compression that their other sheers. -
Be careful that any premade cheese products are not unnecessarily high in fat or include sugars that other cheeses do not. I am in no way suggesting low fat cheese my nut is against low fat cheese. I just mean go more natural that processed.

Has anyone tried the baked parm zucchini "fries"?
chycky replied to QueenOfTheTamazons's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Whisps are parmasean crisps so you could use those or any parmasean crisp. Whisps are great I got at Costco. Of course this is dependent on your stage but an approved veggie with cheese and baked would seem fine. -
Get a fleet enema as well

I felt like everyone was staring at me at the gym
chycky replied to gustavio's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Keep going. Like everyone said it is unlikely anyone was staring at or judging. Anyway you will knock them dead with progress you make! I balance my gym days with home gym days for convenience and peace -- I like quiet and less bright lights. I do 3 gym days on my days with cardio and weight training. The trainer session will help you feel more confident try it out! -

Late June Sleeve Buddies?
chycky replied to Maggie143's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@ShelterDog64 wow! You are doing great! Although I don't want to have bare closet I am loving growing down and out of clothing. I have some items that rotate from too tight to just right (and a couple that have gone through that cycle as well as too big!). I use my next round of too tight to gauge progress as I feel and see difference even if scale or even measurements are not moving. @@rebecca wills here is when I feel really full --if my bites too big or I eat a little too fast and this is exacerbated if what I am eating is meat. This seems typical and is my reminder to not only eat different items than before but eat them differently i.e. Slow. It can be hard if I am in a rush or not paying attention. What about everyone else how is exercise going? Do you feel need to mix it up? -
Late June Sleeve Buddies?
chycky replied to Maggie143's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hello! So glad to check back in with June buddies! So since 6/21 hw 367 cw 294.8 (Nekkid:) about 72 pounds down. I feel like been slow going but might be picking back up. I am changing up times for my Protein shakes. I do kind of have routine for liquid and protein so I still feel that weekends are hardest for me to get my Water in so changing that up a bit as well by having water after Breakfast (30 min + later) and then shake before lunch. Since I sleep more on weekends usually I have to pay attention to schedule. I have used my Fitbit tracking to keep accountable to eating and exercise. I do at least 5 days per week and have 2-3 of those days include weights. I just recently upped my level on elliptical and some weights I find it make it through the workout but not as fast as at easier level so on the machine it is saying I am burning less calories but have actually lost more since that change. Who knows. A local university has a program where they do resting metabolic rate bone density and body fat scans. It is not too pricey. I am considering doing this to help get a clear idea of what I am burning and need to burn. I wonder if my nut will be able to help or use the information on next visit, she is not most dynamic or informative sole. food wise I have had no real problems. I did buy papaya enzyme and used one time eating steak. I have red meat from time to time but really it's mostly chicken chicken chicken. My life is water pee chicken water pee yogurt Protein Shake water pee repeat. Clothing I have really thinned out closet as some items were just too big. I am still working way into items that before had been way too tight but look forward to donating all of it. I am not holding on to anything big! -
Why is a stool sample needed
chycky replied to marissahealthiernewme's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I did not have one, and they checked for h pylori with my EGD. -
really need to have a mini meltdown
chycky replied to ella37's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you can don't underestimate the power of decaf to satiate you! I am sure it is harder to do this right at post op. Best of luck -
No problem! Have some liquid if all else fails! I am drinking green tea!

Great app and congrats on avoiding grazing!

Unjury is so nasty
chycky replied to myfatisnotaflaw's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I love the chicken and the unflavored was great and blended well. Everyone has their own tastes. -
It is hard, and it seems like a "good" food should not be an issue. But, I agree that the pattern is important to break. I have struggled with this a bit myself. My team does not approve of any snacking. If I feel like energy or "appetite" is leading me toward this, I try to have my 2nd Protein shake after dinner, or I will add a protein shake/broth to the day.

chycky replied to gustavio's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I track religiously with my fitbit. I input my weight, food, and exercise (it tracks walking off course but I enter my gym time and set goals there). I think it helps keep me accountable. It does not track Protein or carbs, but this has not been important to me (1. I eat so few carbs, 2. my nut and plan don't require me to track anything but my supplemental protein and weigh my food). I like being about to see my weight changes over time on the app, it helps me when I feel that I am going slow with weight loss to see the overall progress. -

Unjury Chicken soup flavored protein?
chycky replied to Boudala's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Unjury chicken broth is my second favorite next to premier chocolate. There are some shakes I could not take post op but that was only for a few weeks. Unjury chicken was lifesaver. And their ads run on this site I recommend starter kit to try and it comes with the key thermometer to ensure you don't over cook it! -
Traveling week 7 post-op, need advice!
chycky replied to The New Kel's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes I echo that. You can let them know for medical reasons you need Mini fridge. They may have some on hand for that reason. However i rarely have had a mini fridge that works well in hotel, so that can be annoying. -
Having trouble getting enough calories
chycky replied to mkrumph's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My protein shakes represent over 1/3 of my calories for day. I don't have a calorie goal but I am around 700-900 per day on average. -
Vitamins during clear liquid diet/mushie diet?
chycky replied to cassandramarie93's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had to do chewable or liquid at that stage. Centrum makes a great new one vitaMINTS that are great and much better than all the others I tried.
