  1. I had to wear the diposable paper hospital ones only because period.
  2. My "pump" thing is a ball of pain meds. It is for six days post surgery. The ball gets smaller as days go on and it says on-q pain relief. They explained that it is meds so definitely not a drain. It is annoying and it is not like I want to go outside to walk with my little "purse" attached to stomach! I may have gotten because I distinctly remember whining in pain immediately post op.
  3. I am on same protein drinks as pre op so using premier as easier to take smaller amounts. I had protein broth and protein jello at hospital. Not completely clear liquid then like others I guess.
  4. Anyone have one of these stupid pump things attached like a purse to stomach?
  5. Moderate to mild gas some burping worried that no poop for days now though!
  6. Much the same for me only early morning surgery helped me only have one night in hospital. Glad to hear others had phlegm thought it was just me. I was so over the iv fluids all I did was pee pee pee. Plus the fluids brought my blood pressure up. Now just achy when drinking. So far have had one and 1/4 protein shake and some water. Trying to walk more tired. Doing the breathing thing.
  7. I could have stayed 2 nights but I wanted to go home. I had a very early 6am arrival 730 am surgery so really it was like I was there 2 days since left at 7pm following day. First day rest and a few walks, 2nd day early in day leak test then broth jello ice chips a few times that day. Rest walking bathroom. I was on fluid iv drip entire time which meant bathroom every 1-2 hours practically. I was able to go on my own they just stay outside bathroom to make sure you don't fall. Happy to be home in own bed without as much noise as hospital !

    Calling all June '16 sleevers!

Had mine early yesterday and getting ready to check out!!! When I came out of anesthesia I was in a lot of pain, lots. Now just tender and a bit of pain. Have been able to drink fluids well. No prob keeping down so far not even with gross Protein Jello. One incision is more tender that the others. I am on iv fluids and pee all the time. No slime no gas other than burps. Walking around is good. So far so good!

    My hair, my hair!

Let me tell you this is a great fear for me. I have read watched and read some more. There will be no one taking or doing more to prevent this than me I think. Hoping my Protein intake can stay high post op. Watch clusie on YouTube about hair loss. I just got Phyto hair serum that is tailored to hair loss from diet weight loss or stress. I got the pur D'or will be getting additional keratin treatments and silk cap. I already take collagen and Biotin and will continue.

    Skin firming lotions

Salt scrub is supposed to help before whatever you use. Everything's individual to amount of loss though.
  13. Your nut should have discussed. I had same but subsided. You should ask about milk of magnesium
  14. Good luck I am the following day! Hope your recovery is smooth!

    D-day- June 21

That is my day too! First surgery as well so that freaks me out even more I think than the sleeve right now. The pre op is blah I think the only way I have been like 95% compliant and 100% these last days is because focused on Tuesday.
  16. Yeah but scoop is tiny not 30g. How does that work? I am just leery of their site as it has "natural anabolic steroid" products and a lot of odd and hyped marketing. To each their own. It did taste like nothing.
  17. ok so I thought this stuff tasted great and fell victim to convenience of Amazon but after looking at their website and another thread here gene pro doesn't seem reputable. And yeah 30g in 15 g is beyond possible. https://blog.priceplow.com/supplement-news/musclepharm-lawsuit-arnold-iron-mass

    Low carb products

Cauliflower riced and spaghetti squash are great. I don't care for zucchini noodles but haven't tried yellow squash ones yet. Looking forward to having reason to try!

Day 2 of my Liquid Diet

Premier is good and I would be your office would accept if slim fast is ok. I just tried gene pro unflavored in broth, never would have thought it was actually good and tasteless. A nice easy way to add 30g!

Ugh I worry about congestion too. Best wishes for clear days ahead! My surgery is 21, let's both hope for nationwide low allergens.

I keep thinking I will oversleep or not be able to do surgery. It has been such a long wait!
  23. Hey there, since I just emailed to ask my nurse for instructions via email, I thought I would share since some may want to use or appreciate more details. Surgery is less than a week away! Steps for showering or bathing with the CHG/4% Hibiclens : 1. Wash and rinse your hair, face, and body using your normal shampoo and soap. Avoid Dial soap as it reduces the effectiveness if Hibiclens 2. Make sure you completely rinse off 3. Turn off the shower or turn Water away from you 4. Pour a quarter size amount of liquid CHG/Hibiclens soap onto a wet, clean washcloth, and apply to your entire body FROM THE NECK DOWN. Do NOT use on your face, hair, or genital areas. 5. Rub the soap filled washcloth over your entire body for 3 minutes; apply more soap as needed (1/4 of bottle should be used with each of the 4 showers/cleansing). Avoid scrubbing your skin too hard. 6. Turn on the shower/return to the bath, & rinse the soap off your body completely with warm water. 7. Do NOT use regular soap after washing with the Hibiclens. 8. Pat your skin dry with a freshly-laundered, clean towel after each shower/bath cleansing. 9. Dress with freshly-laundered clothes after each shower/bath cleansing 10. It is important the night before surgery, upon the 3rd day of bathing, sleep with clean bed linens 11. Do NOT apply any lotions, deodorants, powders, or perfumes to your body.
