Hey I hope it's getting better for you. I have energy but it is difficult. What kind of diet are you on? I weighed in this morning I was 13.5 lbs down in 5 days. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

So today is day 4 of my liquid diet and I'm away in Ocean City Maryland for a lacrosse tournament for my son. It is very very difficult to be here because eating socially and having a beer or a drink socially was a huge part of my life. I have been perfect for 4 days and will continue to be strong, but it has me thinking about the way it will be after. It is going to be a huge change to have to sit for dinner and eat such a small amount. I know it's what's best for me because of the diabetes, high blood pressure, fatty liver, thickened heart, sleep apnea... I've tried so many times on my own and took it off but gained it back. My bmi is just under 40 and I started at 280 and my goal will prob be around 210 I'm 5'10". I know it's not a huge amount of weight to lose for this surgery but my health issue are a big part. In the third day of liquid diet I'm already off my diabetes meds. I wish I could fast forward a few months so I could get to the point where I could enjoy a nice slice of chicken! Lol. How long after surgery will that be? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi everyone, I'm scheduled for sleeve surgery on June 22nd. Today is day two of the liquid diet. So far not bad. My sugar dropped already so I have stopped taking some of my meds already. I have had a mild headache which they said was normal. I'm nervous and excited for this lifestyle change but I know its for the best.
