Ughh - hair loss is very real. My hairline is noticeably thinner. I've been losing hair constantly for the past 3 weeks (exactly 3 months post-up). Today was the first day I dyed my hair since the hair loss started and everytime I went to squeeze water out of my hair, more hair kept sliding out. I know it's temporary but it's still scary!

Oh no! I'm convinced that if the hair loss was a permanent side affect many people wouldn't get the surgery. Thankful, it's not! Thankfully it'll grow back too. I'm sorry it's happening to you hon. And I'm equally happy that there are remedies to making it look fuller during this time. Fortunately for me, if I do experience the hair loss, I have so much of it I can spare. But I'm not going to be happy about the new growth, I have a glfeeling it'll grow back in gray. Lol.

This is very sad for us women!! Think about it, men can lose their hair or shave it off and be fine!! Noone will say anything about it. Then cme us Women!! We are such a worry wart that it is devastating to us!! It WILL grow back mine did. The thing about me was I come from a bunch of women that lost their hair so I was very very thin myself. Before my RRNY I kept a perm in my hair so it looked thicker. When I was young I had tons of hair I mean tons When I put it up with a thickest rubber hair band I could only wrap the rubber band 2 times. After my WLS I haven't put a perm in it. But did color it and started wearing it short. Good things are a comin it will grow back in. Go to your Hair stylist if youm havre one and talk to them. Another thing get your amount of protein in, I started only washing it ever other day. Plus I use a shampoo that helps with hair loss. I also take HAIR SKIN AND NAILS. I took them everyday up until last month when my B12 came back to high. Now I take it 2 times a week. Also Seleinum. Hang in there
