Down 60 pounds today! I was very happy to see the scale drop below the 100kg mark this morning - it's such a wonderful visual reminder that things are working (slowly but surely). Once I lose 10 more pounds I will be halfway to goal, which is almost unbelievable to me!

Well, I lost just over 20 pounds during my 3-week pre-op (non-liquid) diet, and another 40 pounds since surgery. The only exercise I do is walk - I definitely get over 10,000 steps a day (closer to 15,000), but it seems that the scale really moves when I get over 20,000 steps a day. This Thursday will be my 3-month surgiversary, and I know I definitely need to start doing some weight training, which I hope to start this week. For now, I'll just use the weights I have at home, but as I get stronger I hope to go to a local pay-as-you-go gym once or twice a week (regular gyms are not a great option for me - the hours are absurd (they don't open till 10 a.m.) and very expensive (at least $150/month, when at best I could go twice a week).
