Pre-op diet starts today! Drinking my first shake now...

Thanks all for the support! Actually, my plan allows for 2 meals with veggies and lean protein, plus 2-3 shakes a day. I've been drinking shakes for a while, but always mixed with fruit and yogurt or soy milk. I quickly realised first thing that protein shakes made with water and nothing else are pretty nasty! Luckily soy and almond milk are allowed, so they cut on the sweetness quite a bit. I made a tofu shake this morning with a handful of strawberries and soy milk - OMG, it was so delicious! Like drinking a milkshake. That might be my go-to in the mornings until I leave for US/Mexico.
@MrsSugarbabe - I really want to try the Unjury chicken protein powder, but it's really hard to get in in Japan. I hope to stock up on some when I'm in the States to help me post-op.
