  1. I know I shouldn't compare myself to others but this one is kinda funny! Sooooo one of my short term goals is to finally get to ONDERLAND and lets just say I'm picturing 194.2 like the second coming of Christ! 2 of my very pregnant co-workers were talking to each other and comparing bellys and current weight. One of them said-- "I'm up to around 194!" She's due in 18 days! Well it kind of put a damper on my goals of hitting onederland but it also put a new perspective on my journey and that is... I still got a ways to go but I am happy with my progress so far-- Happy Monday!

also keep in mind that carrying around a significant amount of extra weight for years not only grows your muscles, which are heavier than fat, but also make your bones denser and thus heavier. I'm the same weight and height as my friend who recently gained some weight and we look utterly different. I'm actually considerable smaller than her, probably due to my muscle mass and bone density. So your 194 will probably be way different than others' 194. :)

When I started this, under 200 seemed like an unobtainable goal. I wanted to be 250 ish. Now if I don't get below 190 I will feel like a failure. Onderland, that elusive place, sigh.
