Has anyone else been to their post-op appt.? How is everyone doing? Any good weight loss numbers yet or good progress? I do not have my appt. until Monday and do not want to step on a scale until then. I hope it is good news!

I am officially done whining. My recovery was not easy nor fun, but I believe I have turned the corner. I am finally feeling better physically and mentally (about my decision). The nausea for me was no joke and dry heaving was the worst. Today, I am back to work (half day), drinking my liquids, doing my walking, and feeling like my body is on the mend. Thanks to everyone for their support and congrats to all those brave enough to decide this was the right decision for themselves. I would not have made it this far without this group and I cannot wait to keep hearing progress and accomplishments from my 26ers!!

I am back to work today, one week after surgery. I realized how tired I am before I even got here this morning, so I opted to do half days the rest of the week and come back full day strong on Monday. No emotions yet. I do however, have the feeling of regret. I'm trying to figure out if this was all worth it to me. I'm sure it is due to the fact that I'm still nauseous and not holding down liquids much, so I feel pretty weak and miserable. I'm on all liquids, but no desire to drink, because I'm still having nausea problems. I only have the one incision that hurts, constant diarrhea and still full of gas. Can't wait for this phase to be over. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

Had anyone tried eating or drinking since surgery? I've only been able to keep down a couple bites of yogurt and 2 sips of Soup besides Water, which still pains me. I feel like I need calories, but am afraid to eat. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

I can't sip or have ice yet, I'm so dry. I also have constant nausea. They have tried 3 different nausea meds and I'm still dry heaving. Pretty miserable. Convinced that it will get better every day Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

I definitely would not take zquil tonight. I don't think anyone sleeps the night before surgery. You will get enough sleep during and after.

I can't even get excited about it anymore, I'm so nervous! Good luck tomorrow 26ers!!!!
