So today I'm scheduled for In-Out Surgery to have an IVC Filter placed. I have a headache and my surgeon told me not to eat anything after 7am... ughh Im on my liquid diet anyway but then he schedules my surgery for 2pm.... Pray for me!!! Has anyone else had a IVC filter place in prior to WLS? Soon2B Sleeved

I have been over weight most of my teenage years. I was diagnosed with PCOS( polycystic ovary sydrome) when I was 16 years old which is the cause among other things of me being over weight! I tried everything you can think of that would help a normal person trying to diet out. But nothing seemed to work. I would be small one day and gained about 5-7 pounds just from breathing fresh air! After I had my son in 2009 I never saw so much weight in my life and it just keep coming... I wasn't happy about it but also had no control over it. So now that I am at this point in my life where I am literally less than 2 weeks away from this life changing event I am extremely happy but also nervous!!! I was drinking EAS complete and they are good but they did not have enough protein for my consumption. My liquid is only 2 weeks. Soon2B Sleeved

I'm drinking Premier... they have vanilla, strawberry &cream, chocolate and Banana& creme. And their 30g of protein per drink! How long is your pre-op Soon2B Sleeved No its really not... more like Mind over Matter Soon2B Sleeved

I also use Premier and I was told to consume 100g of Protein a day. I honestly think every surgeon is different and goes by different things. Soon2B Sleeved
