no doubt! 2 weeks of atkins shakes, and 2 days of clear liquids before my surgery on the 21st! Yes, the v8 is horrible. Good luck finding something good the docs will allow:frown:. -

How weird does the port feel? It looks kinda big. When you lose weight, can you see it or is it deep enough in the muscle tissue? March 21st approaches soon. I cant wait but am still nervous. THANKS to all who post here! All of you who continue to post really help us newbies out, and i will continue the tradition as much as possible. Thanks again.

do the fills hurt much? ive seen the size of the needle and its kinda scary! My last meeting with the surgeon is tomorrow. Ive been on a liquid diet, to help initiate rapid weight loss, and to help shrink the size of my liver. It seems to be working, even with my cheating here and there:redface:. -

There are plenty of videos out there. Its kinda cool to see how different doctors do the same procedure in different ways. I think this particular one has more of a first person view to it all. This woman is a reporter and tells the whole pre/post op (2 and a half years) story through her own eyes. I hope to do as good as she has! The Tampa video is very good as well! (Are all the docs doing this European?!! LOL)

To some, a warning. This is an actual procedure video. I found it on the web here OBGYN.net Roberta's Gastric Lap Band Surgery For Weight Loss It helped me understand the pre/post op and the surgery itself. Check it out if you can. Dont be fooled by the link name. This woman, Roberta, is a publisher of obgyn.net. You need real player {avail from site}. Also note the doctors are German, but they speak English and it was easy to understand.

Yeh, im kinda nervous. Im hoping this was the right call. The rouen y seemed a little dramatic for my particular situation. Is it really sore? Is it more from the incisions or is it an inside hurt? Also, to anyone, how weird does the port feel? Thanks.
