Dr wizman did my sleeve may 26 last year. was self pay, 10,600. Best thing I've ever done. Am down 138 pounds from surgery and 170 pounds total from heaviest. Wizman was fantastic and what you pay for you get a lot (hospital nights etc). I didn't get a single follow up bill like you do with insurance normally, from anyone

Youre a ways out from working out, depending on when in May you had surgery. Should give yourself 4-6 weeks aside from that, theres no targeting fat loss thru workout unfortunately :\ Just good ol fashion weight loss. You can do ab exercises (sit ups, crunches, leg lifts, etc) that will help tighten your core and build strength, but its not going to increase your weight loss in that area

Puréed stage questions

I made eggface ricotta bake. I added in some precooked chicken strips from the grocery store (Tyson brand) and would put my serving + some chicken into a blender w/ some chicken stock. Recipe link here https://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=1793517 -
When does the discomfort stop after surgery?
ChrisFL replied to Dashofpixiedust8's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hey I was sleeved on May 26. For about 5 days it hurt to walk, mostly from my largest incision where the stomach was removed. My back had some pain in it too (upper) but I attribute that to being from the way I would hold my body up due to the discomfort. I didnt take anything more than a tylenol. After 5 days or so I feel like I never had surgery -
Hey man. I live in Palm City, FL just north of Palm Beach. I had surgery two weeks ago with Dr Paul Wizman in Margate, about an hour and a half south of me near Ft Lauderdale. I was self pay - $10,600.00. Overall the experience was great. I would absolutely recommend him, but know he is far for you. I did meet Dr Jawad when I was in college back in 2007 considering the surgery, but didnt have (only went to an info session). Happy to answer any questions for you. Feel free to check out my blog, too www.thickto.fit
