I am so bummed. It’s been 2 years since I’ve had my sleeve surgery and have gained 30 pounds back. My cravings returned. Life got hectic. My back needed surgery. My activity decreased. I no longer like the taste of the healthy foods that I previously ate. I’m gaining weight faster than before the surgery. How do I snap out of this?

You eat junk and more frequently

I had my weight loss surgery May 25, 2016. I started at 240 lbs. I went down to 158 lbs by April 2017. Then my back went out and I could hardly walk and I went for surgery June 2017. Since April I’ve gained 35 lbs back. I can’t seem to get back on track. I’m an emotional eater and addicted to bad foods. Can anyone suggest ways to get back on track?

I’m finally getting my boob job in February. I hope that it’s not painful.

Hi Cindy i was sleeved 5/26/2016. I went from 240lbs to 158 lbs. then my pinched nerves and L4and L5 disks needed surgery 4/2017. My pain was serious. I have gone up to 188 lbs since then. I’m scared that the weight will continue to increase. I take Lamictal 150mg and Wellbutrin. I have had sugar and caffeine cravings like crazy and can’t push myself back into diet mode. Can you help me figure out motivation techniques? I’m going to gain all of my weight back if I don’t do something soon. The lamictal and Wellbutrin get me out of my crazy depression stars where I believe that everyone is against me and I start writing crazy emails. I wish that I can pull myself out of this spiral.

When did you get the sleeve done? I was on Tegretol and it made me a zombie but it kept me level. Is there something better out there?

I swam for a while to increase my endurance. I swam 20 lapse that took me a half hour 5am each morning. I believe in swimming for maintenance but it hasn't helped me lose weight.

I'm a year post op and have gained my appetite back. I can't work out because I have two slipped discs in my back of which I will be getting surgery in two weeks. Working out used to help me get over the eating disorder and the depression. Since I have been diagnosed with Bipolar 2, I get depressed and have an appetite. This happens especially when a few bad things fall apart at the same time. I'm not sure which medication would help both my appetite and my bipolar 2 depression. Can anyone tell me what works for them?

Where do you purchase those plastic containers? I use sanwhich bags and a food scale. It's kinda tedious but I would love to try those containers. Also my meal plan is low on veggies. I really need help with the veggies. Got any advise besides cucumbers?

Has anyone utilized the lighten Up Diet post gastric surgery?

Your eyes look amazing. I look more like your first photo. I want desperately to get my eyes done. I'm scared that the surgeons will botch it up. Who did you go to and how much was it. I know that my insurance won't pay for it. I would take the flight to England to get my eyes done. My sleeve was done 5/25/16. Is it still too soon to get the eyes done?

Dear rydersmama. Do you also work full time? I have a very stressful job and I have to be there by 7am and leave work by 5pm.

I'm in NJ and heard that you can get insurance to pay for a boob job if you can get an orthopedic to show that your back is effected by the weight of your boobs. Has anyone done this? I thought that I was doing really well. I finally beat the 180 mark that took me close to a month to hit. All of a sudden my period comes and I gain 3 pounds instantly. I went from 177 to 180 within 2 days. I am so discouraged. I'm afraid that I will go back up again. I watch my food and exercise daily but the weight Jim has freaked me out.
