Oh The Infamous 3rd Week Stall
taprice2 replied to reducer623's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I stalled for two weeks at 2 weeks post-op. On my 4 week post-op day I got on the scale and was done 2 lbs. I am down a total 22lbs now. I just continued to walk and follow my plan. I believe that it is my food transitions that caused it and I now know that as I continue adding different foods I will have to increase my exercise, Protein and fluids. I also know I have may more to look forward to. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App -
Hi debbo1958 I had my surgery on July 5th and am down 20lbs and i am now at a 13 day stall. I too have a lot of energy and I've been walking two and a half to 3 miles a day. I am always wonder if I'm eating enough and then some days I feel like I'm eating too much especially with the stall. Do you ever think we have traded one obsession, over eating, for another, how much to eat, when to eat, etc.? Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

I am not quite 4 weeks post-op and i have to set an alarm every three hours to remember to eat/drink especially at work. I'm not always getting my required liquid amount which is 48 ozs right now but I am getting my Protein. I have always struggled with liquid consumption. Slowly getting better. Do you use PatchMD vitamin patches?
taprice2 replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
So how long are you wearing your Patches? I read you need to keep them on for 8 hours. Just curious as I received mine today. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App -
Is anyone on the Patches or have tried them? I have tried the liquid ones and the smell makes me nauseous. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

I had mine on July 5 to and I still am having gas so it could be that. Also have you had a bowel movement yet? Another possibility. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

I had mine done on July 5. In at 530am left at 130pm. We stayed the night at a hotel because we lived so far from the facility. I have had no issues at all. Good luck. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

5 Days Post Op And The Constipation Is......
taprice2 replied to GetBack_095's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had mine 7 days out and had to use a suppository. Nothing else worked. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App -
I went in at 530am, had my hernia repaired and then sleeved at 7am and was back at my hotel by 2pm. I stayed overnight at a hotel because I leaved 2.5 hours from outpatient facility. My first movement was getting dressed and getting into the wheelchair to go to the car. Not complaining as this was the only way for my insurance would pay. Hence the reason I am walking so much and loving it. Hoping to increase to three miles next week. I am 1 week post-op today. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

Wow you're walking that far! Good for you...my doctor said not to go anywhere near that until he says so. Keep up the good work! Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App Don't want to risk blood clots. I had my procedure done at an outpatient facility and only received 1 shot before surgery for them. The walking really helps with the pain in my stomach and help releases gas. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

Had mine on 7/5 and besides still having a pain in my right side by my big incision i am feeling great. I have lost a total of 15 lbs and the scale goes down 1 to 2 lbs per day. I am drinking 3 ozs every two hours and I am walking 2 miles a day. I cannot be more excited with this journey I have undertaken. Good luck to you all. Hello. I am 4 days post-op and i am still only able to take in small amounts of liquid. Which i am ok with. My out put equals my in take but the instructions I received from my doctor says I should use laxatives if I don't have a bowel movement by day 5. My question is should I? If I'm only takeing in liquids should I even need to have a BM right now? What do you think? Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

Hello all. I am 1/2 day post-op and had my procedure as an outpatient. I am really feel good considering it has only been half a day. I know it has been talked about before but I need information on sleeping positions. I'm really having a problem with lying on my back so have been lying on my side. Is this okay? Is one side better then the other? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App
