i would like to have known what KANINAG was going to say as well. we all come to these forums for help and advice because the problems we bandsters have are not exactly something you can talk about with just anyone. this place is a lifeline for me, and im sure it is for others as well. and by gosh if you need to bitch and moan then we are all here for eachother! this is a life-altering, HARD change and sometimes it sucks!! so if ya dont have anything nice to say, and ya cant be supportive, dont say anything at all! :huh2:

Just wondering if anyone has tried the Isopure drinks? They are really high in protein and are sugar and carb free. Is it too good to be true?? Are they good?:thumbup: :thumbup:

well i have decided to put aside some money every month so when i get to my goal size, i have plenty of cash to go shopping! and for the actual transition, i am going to walmart to buy jeans and tops since that is the cheapest place to buy clothes. but a consignment shop or thrift store is a good idea as well. and then as i outgrow my old clothes, i send them back to the thrift store if they are still in good condition...:thumbup:

Hey everyone- I have been reading about some people that have suffered from allergies and have alot of mucous/drainage, and when they got their Lapband, the drainage made them really sick and they ended up throwing the drainage up... :smile2: so not only is that gross, but also very scary because of band slippage! Anyone with any suggestions or experience would be great!!!

Thanks everyone for your responses... Maybe I was just assuming it was allergies, but maybe it was just sliming associated with PB'ing? Who knows, I'll just need to take it day by day. Thanks again everyone!!

Just wondering if anyone had troubles with hunger on the liquid only diet post-op for a few weeks? ANY suggestions and experiences would be greatly appreciated!!! :biggrin2:
