Considering Revision - some questions
Ldyvenus replied to lillian.b.white's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
"Chronic vomiter" is what stands out for me. I would do as Introversion says and take the first steps with a consult, and go from there. -
If you are by the U.S. border, US dollars. If you are further in to Mexico, pesos. I agree with Berry, your tip should be the equivalent of $1-2 U.S. dollars.

...just sleeved, smooth sailing...until ANXIETY :(
Ldyvenus replied to mytime4me's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
At about 1 year out, you can fit about 1 cup of food, give or take. You have to decide what to put into that cup. Now is the time to focus on making lasting, positive changes to the foods you add back in to your diet. -
Blizair you are one of my favorite BP posters. An inspiration to all of us. I'm sorry to hear about your father. After you've given yourself time to be sad, Tinder and local Meetups are probably your best bet. Good luck!

From the album: A Few of my Favorite Things
I found these at Walmart today and I am so excited to try both of them. -
Who else is dying of thirst!!!!!
Ldyvenus replied to southernbellair79's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
you could add a sugar free popsicle. I really like the Del Monte Real fruit popsicles. -
Relax, take a break from the scale, follow the plan. ☺ It took longer than a few weeks to put the weight on.

How to Get All Fluids In?
Ldyvenus replied to SandraD_PDX's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My first few days post op I didn't really measure the volume. I just took a sip every time I looked at the cup. I don't see any need to stress out about the 64 oz rule, as long as you are sipping and peeing the first 2-3 days. Now that I am further out I am constantly drinking something. My fluid intake is closer to 90oz a day. -
How to simply track my eating and drinking? Apps seem too complicated.
Ldyvenus replied to GotProlactinoma's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am also a fan of MFP. The tracking gets easier over time because you will have a list of your most frequent meals. I spend less than 5 minutes per day using the MFP app because everything is already there. -
Lighter than my husband!!
Ldyvenus replied to anonymom26's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mine too. My hubby is around 175. I told him it would be helpful if he would gain 5 pounds to help me get there faster. 😁 -

Nose piercing and surgery

I put mine back in when I got up for my first lap around the room. I don't think they really care about jewellery after you are done with surgery. -
Tell me your Gallbladder Story...
Ldyvenus posted a topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I have a GB consult tomorrow, with a possible surgery date for August 3rd. I only had 1 terrible attack, a couple of months ago. I have been looking online for info about weight gain/loss and how the liver is affected. I don't know why I'm on the fence about this surgery, but I know the pain from an attack is unbearable. For those of you who have had it removed, would you recommend it and are you having any issues? -
I chewed my pills for the first 2 days. I would ask the doctor for cheaper antinausea pills after surgery. I don't think you will need hydrocodone and pain patches together either. Make sure to ask for the generic substitutes as well.

Can you stretch your sleeve after 10 days
Ldyvenus replied to barbie2014's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
No, it's not even healed yet. -
Tell me your Gallbladder Story...
Ldyvenus replied to Ldyvenus's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I just got back from the consult. I guess it really boils down to; not if I will have another attack, but when. So I will be getting my GB out on August 3rd. The doc asked to see my scars and how much it costs to get the vsg surgery in Mexico. He was an interesting fellow. Thank you for all of the feedback. -

Thanks you guys. @MelodyBronson Did you notice any significant weight gain or loss after it was removed? -
What do you wish you would have known before?
Ldyvenus replied to maimee's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I used my blender twice after the surgery, I didn't like the consistency of the shakes. I have a blender ball cup, I still make my morning coffee concoction in it every day. -
So Many Questions About My Eating Habits At Work
Ldyvenus replied to Redo2017's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
To each their own. I have family members I can't trust, and I've been burned by a friend of 20 years. I'm just more guarded now. -

Feeling empty?
Ldyvenus replied to Be_pretty_epic's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Okay... But on the logical side of things. Let's all go take a look at her posting history. She offers nothing to this forum, I only pointed out the obvious. I am tired of constantly being spammed by ads, trolls, etc. It's a waste of time. Move it along > -
So Many Questions About My Eating Habits At Work
Ldyvenus replied to Redo2017's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would tell them it's fine, you are taking advantage of the post op hiatal hernia diet to lose a few pounds. I told the girls at work I couldn't have bread. If you are honest they will watch you like Hawks and wait for you to slip. -
There is no long term hunger strike. The sleeve is basically a 6-12 month head start on making lasting, healthy changes to your diet. You can fill your sleeve up all day long with a whole chocolate bars, whole handfuls of chips, or 4oz of protein and a few bites of veggies.
