Excited to fly home today! Today is the first day I feel better.

I was done on the 24th, today is the first day that the bubbles don't hurt when I drink. Now it's only when I take too many sips. Hold on, youre almost there.

Mine was one on the 25th, the gas pain for the first 2 days was terrible. I am flying home later today. Pain is a bit better today, I would love to chew something. I can feel/hear little bubbles come up every time I take a drink now. -
I am a few days post op and found lime C-light here in Mexico. It tastes really good, and it's only got 20 cal per pack.

I'm sitting in the hospital now. I am extremely greatful for my: Chapstick Extension cord Heating pad Listerine mouth spritz Gas-x strip ( I'm not sure they are working, but what the heck) I also had a bottle of water to swish and spit out -
Just got back from flouroscopy. I came back to a nice clean room with fresh sheets. I have been cleared for ice chips and liquid.

I would call the psychologists office and ask him for a more specific letter to be sent.

So far day 2 I have paced in my room and bit. The pain is more like a stuck chip with heartburn kinda feeling. I am super thirsty, so I have been swishing and spitting water. Also, I brought a heating pad, highly recommended!

My last few days was extremely awkward. I think the boss expects me back at work sooner because it's just hernia repair. He keeps saying, "see you in 2 weeks. " Even though the paperwork says 1 month. And literally everybody (co-workers and customers) asked me what I was going for. I hate lying, ick! But for the people who do know. Every single one has a story about how so and so got the band and gained all of their weight back now. You're dammed if you do, and dammed if you don't. -
I am hoping this happens to me, too. It would be a big help in the long run.

Don't cancel! Take care of you. Do whatever is necessary to put yourself first. Find a way, and make it happen. If your husband is capable of driving than your son can miss 1 day of school (or 1/2 day). If your girlfriend will let him spend the night, send him over. When was the last time her ex came back and beat up everybody in the house? What is the likelihood of it actually happening on that one night, realistically? Focus on you, and make it happen. -
am flying to Puerto Vallarta tomorrow, so I have just added my before pics. As some of the vets have suggested, I will also be writing down my measurements today. I am getting excited and nervous!

Just bought a scale and weighed myself. Wow! I haven't weighs myself for over a year. I quit smoking and started vaping in October 2015, I have gained 16 pounds since then. This is the heaviest I have ever been.

You can add Dr. Armando Joya to your list for $5000. I choose him because he has a Facebook page, and there are a few Youtubers who have documented their journeys. He doesn't aggressively promote himself... I communicate directly with his nutritionist. I also didn't like the idea of driving across the border. For around the same price, I can go enjoy recovering in Puerto Vallarta. -

I have been thinking about this with my surgery date getting closer. I have a 10 and 5 year old. My son told me that dad told him today. Lol, well I guess I don't have to worry anymore. Dad did a good job. I think the strange part will be mom disappearing for 5 days.

I'm getting mine done in Mexico so I don't have one either. I think it just depends on your surgeon and pre op size. I have decided to do a 2 shake, 1meal diet for the last week and liquids for the last 48 hours before surgery. I'm not really sure where they put the laparotomy incisions. But the liver doesn't cover the stomach.
