I had the sleeve done 3 years ago and I keep having issues with eating. I have days where I have to go throw up everything I eat minutes after I eat it. It’s so bad this time around that I can’t even sip on water. Nothing is staying down. Does anyone have this issue? What helps this?

Double-takes F*cking Rule
brendaleecantu replied to TheRev's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I'm not one to like attention but since my weight loss I love how people react when they see me. Just last night a friend said that I had lost half of myself. I'm doing this for me but it's nice when people notice my weight loss. Gotta keep losing! -
Still loving my sleeve over 2 years out
brendaleecantu replied to imadethelist's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Wow! You look great. I'm 7 months out and so far so good. My biggest fear is gaining it all bad. I'm not where I want to be but I'm getting there. Finally got it thru my head that I still need to watch what I eat and work out to be successful. -
NOT the easy way out...
brendaleecantu replied to bodyslmmn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Nope not the easy way at all. Just a tool. You still have to put in the work! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App -
How Often Do You Weigh Yourself?
brendaleecantu replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Now that I am working out and counting calories.....I weigh once a week to make sure I'm losing weight. Before I only did it once a month because I kept stalling and it was frustrating not seeing any weight loss. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App -
Weight gaining after sleeve?
brendaleecantu replied to XmeghannstarX's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Even though you won't be able to eat big meals like before you still have to watch out with grazing. I count my calories to stay on track because if I wanted to I could eat all day and calories can add up. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App -
I'm 7 months out and I can only eat a little bit before it fills me up. Same with Pasta. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App

Please share: What are you looking forward to about losing weight?
brendaleecantu replied to BettyG's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I look forward to taking pictures with my family. I've always hated the way I looked and felt. Now that I have lost 104 pounds I'm okay with taking pictures but not too many. I'm sure that will change as I keep loosing weight. I'm also looking forward to being more active. I did 1 5k last year and I'm signed up for 2 this year. I'm much happier and positive. I'm actually excited about life! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App -

Anyone notice a stall pattern?
brendaleecantu replied to hbrhonda's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My stall is similar to yours. I lose weight and then it stalls for 3 weeks. I don't worry about it too much just as long as I'm losing inches. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App -
Excited with results

Congratulations! I got sleeved May 31 and just started walking/jogging 3 weeks ago. I should have started sooner but I had a rough recovery from surgery. I'm doing my 1st 5k in 2 weeks. So nervous and excited at the same time. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App -

I had the sleeve done May 31. I'm almost 4 month post-op. I have lost 80 pounds and swelling is better but it's still an issue. I guess I just thought it would go away by now but then again I'm just starting. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App

Apples or Peaches?
brendaleecantu replied to charley27's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 10 weeks out and I started eating fruits and veggies around week 8. Just chew, chew, chew and you shouldn't have a problem. I didn't. I can't eat too much but it's nice to eat something different. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App -

Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Yes so much better! I ended up in the ER got IV fluids and Vitamins and the nausea went away. I can now eat and drink with no problems and losing weight is definitely a plus . Being sick for over a month left me very weak but I started walking and I'm beginning to get my strength back. My doctor put me on acid reflux meds and it's helping me out big time. I still get acid reflux but it's getting better and better. This is my second month taking it and now I only have reflux once or twice a week. Some dairy, coffee, and anything with red dye triggers my acid reflux. brendaleecantu replied to doingitmyway's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Everyone recovery is different. I unfortunately wasn't one of the lucky ones that had a smooth recovery. I'm 6 weeks out and finally feel so much better. I had a lot of nausea to the point where I would vomit and ended up in the ER twice for fluids. Even though I'm better, I don't think I would have the energy for Disney. brendaleecantu replied to Faitheyfoo's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums

Constantly nauseous
brendaleecantu replied to bypassthatbunni's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm on week 5 from gastric sleeve and I'm nauseous all the time. Eating is fine but I'm having trouble getting my liquids is impossible because the more I drink the worse I feel. My doctor put me on medicine for acid reflux. He also told me that the more dehydrated I get, the worse the nausea will be. I have been dealing with it for the past 2 weeks and it's horrible! Did anyone deal with your throat being so dry? I drink alot of Water....all day long but my throat is so dry. It almost feels like there is a knot in it. Because of it, I have a hard time eating. I also have an issue with my allergies. I have sinus drainage but it much better now that I am on allergy medicine. Any suggestions? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App
