Glad to know that being skinny through an eating disorder is more acceptable than being heavy! Sigh. As other have said, my favorite comeback is, "I can always lose weight; but ugly is forever." Or "I can always lose weight; you don't seem to be able to grow hair."

Gadget - My latest obsession is a Dodge radio commercial where one can "go further on a tank of gas." I always yell, "FARTHER!" You can't mention "one drama in particular" and not tell us which one! Kellster - I do as well! I take a pencil and circle it. (I wouldn't dare use a pen. That seems almost sacrilegious.)

From what you all have said I am so thankful that I don't live near my HS!!! My worst comments have been from my parents. Dad said, "You know, you're bigger than your (maternal) grandmother now." Surprisingly, I can't come up with anything Mom has said tho I know she has. She has patted my fat gut w/in the last year tho. Luckily they're both supportive of the surgery. Ironic that I found this post today. I'm still pre-banded (but getting closer!) and ordered a pizza tonight. The foreign/ugly delivery man said, "here's your humongous pizza." Keep in mind that at the last delivery, he said, "here you go, big woman." So short tipped him tonight (10%ish). I then proceeded to call the GM to go OFF about the delivery schmuck. I did order a large but hello, pizza freezes really well, Einstein. I would've slapped him but I live alone and he knows where I live! I guess I should've said, "and your English ain't so good!" (Get it? I used bad english!) Only prob is that I couldn't place the accent!

Thanks! I am so grateful not have had to go through hoops. I told the coordinator that she clearly knows her job! She told me that United would take 2 weeks to respond and it was 2 weeks to the day! (She said that not everyone follows directions well, haha.)

Ahhhh, very good point! I left a message with the coordinator today so hopefully she'll return the call or email me tomorrow. One would think that the office would make sure I could pay the balance if I do have an out of pocket before the surgery!!! Posting to post to say I am SO sick of ED commercials; I mean honestly. I'm not sure if our rivers have crested or not but I know we had a lot of flash flooding! It's awful to bitch about days and days of rain considering the drought condition but I have to admit that the sun is a wonderful change! I'm just north of Atlanta so you can just drive up for the Guv'nuh pitch. And hey, if you want to stay to shop or whatever, I have a guest room. :eek: Just think what we'd save in prison costs!!! :thumbup:
