I agree esp when we don't have great support systems in place PLUS I don't want a 70 year old set of geezers in Congress telling women what to do! Waaahhhhh my goal weight per that website is 195 and I'm 5'4". I guess it's b/c I'm so big now. I guess I should just be glad for any weight off; esp for my poor knees!!

I'm very nervous about tomorrow more so about the pain and being on liquids for 3 weeks than about the actual surgery!!! I began liquids yesterday and was starving all doggone day. I was always a little scared of RNY and had never heard of the sleeve. I actually like the notion that it is reversible whereas the others are not. Renita- I think it's good for those of us pre-bandeds to know what we might be coming up against in our very near future. I've been having jaw problems for the last 2-3 weeks so maybe my not chewing future will help heal my damn jaw! Stay strong and know you're in good company!
