Thanks y'all!!! Being on liquids is really tough but thank goodness the scale is moving! I only weigh every other day. It took probably 5 days to lose the hospital saline do don't freak out if you hold onto the hospital saline!!! ALSO: Something I have done is to take a small pillow and tuck it under my stomach when I sleep on my side. It helps with the pulling around my new port on my right side. FYI!

I cannot even imagine going to law school now. I am WAY the hell too old to be studying now!!! I briefly thought about getting my JDMBA and then remembered, "Hmmm, yeah, you don't like to study that hard!!" So I just got the MBA!

OK posters, I woke up with a question. Forget Obama, forget McCain, please. We (U.S.) are currently sneaking up on $7 trillion in debt. I think we take in approximately $2-2.5T in tax revenue a year. So even if we cut our expenses completely (can't), it would take 3ish years to get out of debt - to the Chinese. (Being indebted to the Chinese really scare me but I digress!) Again, forget McCain/Obama....question: how are we going to get out of debt if we do not increase taxes? I do budgeting for a living! We either have to cut costs or increase revenue. Period. I guess we could always sell some of the more annoying celebrities to other countries! Just saying. I just keep hearing the Republicans balk at Democratic taxes and they do every.single.election.time. For 6 years, the Republican congress and Republican Prez spent like drunken sailors!!! Seriously - What are we going to do about this debt! It makes my newly banded stomach hurt to think about!

Hi Bimbabe!! Unjury doesn't have an aftertaste? I thought I'd heard they did. The one I can stomach thus far is Atkins. A friend bought me some Muscle Milk drinks at Costco. They're spewy! I just ordered two Davinci syrups. Said it would take 3 business days; I surely hope it's less!!! I've heard of a couple people mixing in powdered cheesecake pudding mix. PS - I'm a week out and have lost 13.5 pounds driving me straight into Twoterville - woohoo!!!!!

Keri - I also am with Dr. Steinberg and had surgery last Thursday. The DeKalb hospital staff was great and I've only been a little sore since the surgery. I can't speak to other Atlanta surgeons but Dr. Steinberg and his staff have been great!!

I have to love the anesthesia fog - the main reason I meant to post was to say that I love Whoopie. I think she's very balanced and will look at each side like I do. That's all!

omg, me either. i had a follow-up appointment w/ my surgeon today. i said, "do i really hafta be on liquids 2 more weeks." turkey said yes. :sad_smile: i may eat my shoe by then!!!
