Slim'n - have you heard of pandora.com? If not, I'll explain but I keyed in Amy Winehouse as my "station". (I know she's a crackhead but I love her voice.) I've been steering my pandora to English females and soul so it plays Angie Stone, John Legend, Duffy, Alicia Keys, Joss Stone. I recently added in AH and it intro'd me to some R&B guys that I like and some I don't. I'd never heard of Jaheim but have fallen in love with some song of his that I can't think of the name of, 'course, but it's lovely...kind of Stevie Wonder-ish!

Beth - if it were a better economy, I would say you need to look for another job. I'm sitting here just shaking my head. I do NOT understand how some folks are just chosen to be the golden children. There's a guy in my old department that just keeps getting promotions and I do not get it! He's dumber'n a box of hair!!! All I can say is that I can empathize.

I hear ya! We had our departmental holiday potluck today. There was a sick amount of food. I did OK until around 2pm and then the grazing began. Lawd. One good thing - I'm not much of a cook. I made chess squares for the potluck and there was only one left! :huh2: I probably drank a carafe of cranberry juice today but it was SO good!!!

Girl, I am nothing but pitiful! I ate 4-5 small pieces of peppermint bark today and am cooking a dessert for potluck tomorrow. I can't wait for the holiday season (and its delectables) to be over!!!
