My small yippee for the day. I weighed first thing today and I'm down 18.5 since surgery and 25.5 since my biggest. Woohoo! Now to keep on track....! And the band has opened a bit so I can eat a bit more. That's good and bad - ba!

Leslie-Ha!!! The doctor that caught my thyroid disease was my mother's doctor that I'd gone to for a sinus infection. Pushed the sinuses, the glands, and then *boom* the thyroid. The endocrinologist couldn't figure out whether it was cancer or not so I had surgery. Been on meds ever since! Oprah's got some bosoms, huh? Dang! Why does she do that weird voice? "RESISTAAAANCE....SWEEEEEET POTATOOOOO..." Stop already!

I'm home with a major headache. It was definitely worse this morning and right now, I'm just chillin' watching Oprah about her weight. She thought she had her weight under control at 50 but then had the thyroid diagnosis. As someone having been diagnosed with thyroid disease 16 years ago, I wanna scream, "Yeah, welcome to the club, sister!" PS - I got down some cheddar cheese today - yippee!

I have tons of work friends as FB friends too and I like my boss like a brother so I wouldn't care if he were on FB. However, there is a man in my dept that's friends w/ others that I wouldn't wanna befriend!!

I've prob been the worst Smashing Pumpkin! Since the biggest weight I'd seen, I'm down 19 but only down 12 since surgery. I was such a pig over the holidays; omg. I got my second fill last Tuesday and am SO tight. 5 days later and I can barely get down mashed potatoes! Luckily, I can get down yogurt, applesauce slowly, and SF pudding. Whew.

BBK - seems like someone said that one does not get a notice when they're un-friended. Friend him so that it looks like you added him and then break the connection! If he asks about it, say that FB must've messed up!

You are so bad!!! Amen...I read an article today that said to throw out the antibac soap b/c they kill some wimpier germs but may not kill the tough ones. I think we need some germs in order to keep our immune systems strong. Mac - how well do the roombas work? I've always wondered...

Wow, Slim, that is scary. I definitely got my mother's cluttery ways but luckily we both get fed up and have definite purge fests. I don't wear brand new things w/o washing them first b/c my family has issues about how fabrics feel!

Felix Unger - ha!! Yes I am a nerd. I'm watching the History Channel which I never ever do. They have a series about the 7 deadly sins. The show on greed was very interesting considering the times we are living in. The greed of a few killed our economy just as it did before the Great Depression. Very interesting for my wee brain.
