  2. Wow! Such amazing advise from everyone! So great to have this forum. You will definitely have us and downs James but you will feel better with time. Sleep is very important for your healing right now... mind , body and soul. Get what you can. Before you know it the last thing your gonna want to do is sleep! You are going to feel so good! You will still have moments of regret but those moments become more and more fleeting. I am just over 9 Months out and if I eat something too fast or too much I still get those feelings but not as often. You just need to learn your new body and be cautious. You will be fine! Good luck!

What made you get a tat?

That's pretty! I have a nasty scar on my calf/ankle and always thought about having a nice tattoo to cover/disguise it. I like this!Thank you! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App

What made you get a tat?

Very cool! I have 1 on my for arm above my wrist. I really like yours. I have been told that it really hurts on upper foot and ankle area? Sent from my SM-G930T1 using the BariatricPal App Thank you! It was pretty painful but as far as tattoos go I have nothing to compare it to since this is the only one I have. What made you get a tat?

I got my first tattoo at 46. Always wanted one but had to do one that I knew I could proudly live with for the rest of my life and be proud of always. My Mom was born in Dublin Ireland and was adopted. I have spent over 15 years looking for her birth family and have finally found them. I got 1 shamrock with 4 leaves and 4 smaller shamrocks with 3 leaves on my right outer ankle to symbolize my Irish Pride. The 4 smaller shamrocks represent My Husband, 2 children and myself. I absolutely LOVE it! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App
  13. I had my RNY surgery on May 27th. I remember the Nurse telling me that the upper left incision would be the most painful because they went through more muscle in that location. That may explain the deep pain. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App

Surgery in 2 weeks-- very nervous

Good luck to you all! I had my surgery on May 27th. Just relax and know that you are doing this so you can have a healthy long life. My advice to ALL of you is SIP! SIP! SIP! It starts slow but every little sip counts! WALK! Hold a pillow on your in incisions and move your ASSES! AND... Do you breathing treatments with your Spirometer!
