Hi everyone, just want to share a lil bit of my story. I love this community btw. I read more than write but this forum has help me tremendously so far. In learning more about wls, pre, post & during. So thank you everyone. I have gone to my first appointment with the new in network doctor & have 3 mths of nutritional visits schedule through the end of August. I have ordered nutrisystem, I weigh 260 now, I want to lose abt 30lbs before surgery including the 2 weeks pre-opp diet. I plan on working out & building muscles to help with the journey ahead. Hi, @@Jenjen2016 I used hcg through a doctor office, it was the only diet I lost my max weight but, how long will you do it for? You can only do it 40 days at a time. I found The more i repeat it The harder it was for me to stick with & get the results. The last time I did it for only 6 weeks & they gave me a letter to help with my case. I'm actually getting nutrisystem in the meantime, while i do the 3mth nutritional visits Blessings!

Oh wow, that's so insensitive. Know you're doing whats best for you "it" can mind his own business. We get PTO at my job, dnt need to provide reasons for using them if u request them in a timely manner. If u provide a reason its for courtesy. I had a fitbit charge HR & loved it but, kept getting rashes turns out, I'm allergic to Nickel. There's nickel in the band. I also use to sync it with the fitbit app. I'm looking for an alternative @@haveyoumetalexx

I have the same insurance & I was told I don't have to meet any specific diet requirements except that i meet the bmi requirements & have documented other weightloss attempts. I did ask to see my benefit plan documents & I was directed to where i can find it & it just give the pay schedule & that I'm covered. The place I'm going to confirmed the insurance didn't have any specific requirements so they said they'll have me do the 3mths. My 1st appoint is Wed & I collected all documents i can find of weightloss attempts I've had in the past. All wellness initiatives I've participated in at work etc.. I also wrote a summary of all the diets I've tried , loss & gain table with dates. I want to be as prepared as possible. Btw, just to confirm, I called my insurance multiple times different days & times & all reps said the same thing & just get pre-authorization first. We'll see! Blessings!

I love my curves, I love my butt, my arms, my legs, the upper part of my stomach (lol had a baby). My lips, my smile, my eyes. Just want to be in a healthier frame. This was good, thank you:)

Awesome & congrats! I'm switching places, the original place is out of network, I'm going to see a doctor in network. I found out from my insurance I dnt have to do the 6mths so starting over won't be so bad. The new place want me to do 3mths which is not bad. Still excited! Blessings!
