I'm a nurse as well. I ended up taking 4 weeks off from work. I too, thought I would return in 1 week but my body showed me otherwise. Good luck with everything. -
How many calories am I supposed to be eating each day? I can't get a hold of my NUT and I realized we never went over this. Please help! Thank you.

I'm almost 4 weeks post op and when I drink or eat I don't really get the feeling of being full. Is this normal? Kinda worried because my biggest fear was that my sleeve wouldn't work. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

I'm having the same problem. I'm still in quite a bit of pain. I'm 9 days post op and I thought by now I'd feel much better. I'm at my follow up appt so I'll discuss this with the Dr. On a good note, I lost 8 lbs. Don't know if that's good or bad tho...feel better. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App -

I was sleeved on 9/14/16 and I'm in a lot of pain too. My belly is very sore. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App I had pain pretty regularly for the first week at least. I was sleeved 9/12/16. So far I'm managing to keep everything down. My only problem is that I'm still in quite a bit of pain. Not too sure if that's normal or not but I do know that it's annoying. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! Well...when I woke up from the surgery it felt like I got hit by a truck. Luckily a few hours later my pain was down to a 3. My nurse said my surgery took about 1.5 hours. No hiatal hernia, no complications. It really hurts when I move but the worst part is this dry mouth. Overall I feel much better. Is it ok to eat veggie burgers (like morning star) while I on my pre op diet? Already this diet is getting quite boring.
