The straw that broke the camel's back
iMav replied to Autumn Riley Arnold's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've yo-yo'ed up and down all my adult life (I'm 45). I'll weight and then gain back more. My resulting weight keeps climbing and climbing. I just got to the point that I know I need to fundamentally change my relationship with food. -=iMav=- -
I have 3 appointments on July 12. Surgeon, psych testing, and dietician. On July 18 I have a follow up with the psychologist. -=iMav=-

Cool. The scheduler that called me said my insurance has no real requirements, so my timeframe will be dictated solely by what the hospital requires. -=iMav=-

I just got my initial appointments scheduled. Excited! -=iMav=-

I am pre-op, working with UW Hospital (Madison). I live in Columbus, WI. Have my initial appointments with the surgeon, dietician, and psych testing on July 12th (and follow up with psych on July 18th). My surgeon is Dr. Greenberg. They said there really aren't any restrictions with my insurance...so I am wondering how long the pre-op process is. -=iMav=-

I just confirmed health insurance coverage and am awaiting paperwork in the mail. Once I send that in and the surgical center validates my insurance coverage, my first appointment will be scheduled. (So, I am WAY early in the process) -=iMav=-
