Ummm, NSV?
highfunctioningfatman replied to highfunctioningfatman's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Unfortunately that scenario sure doesn't look good in my head. I certainly would never do anything stupid for my wife but this woman is at least 80 years old. That is a seriously bad mental picture! -
One week off from work?
highfunctioningfatman replied to sumochik's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I did a week without issues. Not everyone has a smooth time of it though. -
I'd just like to set the record straight. I'm a man. Eight inches of cleavage doesn't upset me and in no way was I fat shaming. There is a huge difference between a person (male or female) doing the best that they can to look appropriate in a professional environment vs someone who overly flaunts their body. I couldn't care less if they were 100 pounds vs 300+ pounds. Once again I'm sorry if I offended anyone here.

Copied from earlier. You are correct, it is offensive and I apologize if I offended anyone here. The woman who I was in reference to absolutely disgusted me and my fellow coworkers with her display of her body to attract the older men that come to my office. Once again I apologize if I offended anyone here.

Heck I'm only a month out and although I expected the cold I didn't expect it so soon. My butt, my butt... I need a much better office chair now. Also the pain in my back from posture changing, ouch!

Surgery incisions, location
highfunctioningfatman replied to Havasumoma's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mine are 4" above my belly button and and one dead center between my nipples. -
We fired up the smoker today and have a little bit of fun with pork and salmon. The first thing I did was this pork loin. It is a real simple apple wood smoke and I drizzled it with about a quarter of a cup of honey. Next up salmon smoking time! This is a very simple brine of brown sugar and salt. Once again they were smoked with apple wood and honey. This one is my brother-in-law's. As you can see it isn't a pretty chrome color and the flesh reflects that. My beautiful wife caught this one! Beautiful coloring means beautiful meat!

Complex sleep apnea
highfunctioningfatman replied to QueenOfTheTamazons's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Unfortunately central sleep apnea won't be corrected by weight loss surgery but as you said you may be able to lower the cm how as the obstruction goes away. -

Ricotta bake remake
highfunctioningfatman replied to highfunctioningfatman's topic in Food and Nutrition
I've changed this up a couple of times now. I did the same thing but without mushrooms and crab. Instead I've done shrimp and old bay seasoning or shredded chicken and Valentina hot sauce. -
BACKSTAGE PASS RADIO (WLS RADIO) IS BACK! 10/07/16 with CARNIE WILSON!
highfunctioningfatman replied to Diva Taunia's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
As a young kid I can clearly recall Wilson Phillips on MTV and thinking about how well they sang and how beautiful they were. Hold on, release me and impulsive are buried deep in me. -
Well said, young man. Touché . I guess all the rumors about you aren't totally true after all... Rumors are usually just that.

The last few days it has been this one.

Y'all are totally, utterly, delightfully demented and nuts!

Finally a subject that I feel that I'm qualified for. Boobs. Yes I'm a man and yes I like boobs. That being said, I worked with a lady who was 80-100 pounds overweight who always wore clothes that were revealing. She was at least a full DD cup. I was so turned off by her display that it wasn't even funny. I have no problem with women with curves or a woman being sexy but when trying so hard that she turns slutty then something is wrong. Eight inches of cleavage is like plumbers crack.

If Bubba (from Forrest Gump) farmed Brussels sprouts instead of shrimp: Bubba: Anyway, like I was sayin', Brussels sprout is the fruit of the land. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, Brussels sprout-kabobs, Brussels sprout creole, brussel sprout gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple Brussels sprout, lemon Brussels sprout, coconut Brussels sprout, pepper Brussels sprout, Brussels sprout soup, Brussels sprout stew, Brussels sprout salad, Brussels sprout and potatoes, Brussels sprout burger, Brussels sprout sandwich. That- that's about it. Don't forget cold Brussel Sprouts and garlic marinated in Vinegar and oil. YUMMMMMY!You need to take 3 dollar store pregnancy tests and average them out cuz your either going to be craving pickles and ice cream or your totally, utterly nuts!

Absolutely. I couldn't be happier with how everything went other than my initial coordinator. If you want my coordinators info shoot me a message.

My family is freaking out
highfunctioningfatman replied to parhtx's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
We were treated absolutely amazing in Mexico! I trust my surgeon and his team more than any health care provider in my area and I work in the health care industry. -
I like most veggies except for squash and brussel sprouts. Squash should be squashed and brussel sprouts look amazingly like donkey turds. Give me some fungus growing in cow patties though and I'm in!

NEED HELP! Smoking.... possible Chantix?
highfunctioningfatman replied to Heatgirl03's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I work for an oxygen company. When my niece started smoking at the lovely age of 16 I took her over a cannula (oxygen nose piece) and a retired steel cylinder. I told her that she needed to wear it everywhere around the house . I also found an out of warranty oxygen concentrator that I removed the filter from so it rattled like mad and let it run 24-7 in her bedroom. I told her that if she still wanted to smoke then I'd never say another word other than "thanks for being my future paycheck". Unfortunately for her I had identity theft and was living in a travel trailer on my sisters property so as soon as I got home from work I made sure that she was wearing her "oxygen". She hated me that week but she's never smoked since. -
Dang. Thought for sure you were going to say "The b***h is Back". Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App As requested by my mom the first 3 songs played after her funeral were Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John, The bitch is back and Grandma got run over by a reindeer. This may give some insight as to my background.

The Tikka T3 in stainless with the fluted barrel was the plan for Jeanna's hunting rifle but when she won her Howa 1500 in a raffle at a country music festival it was tough to justify the cost. -

Check out the gorgeous color to that flesh! The only way that you get that in a regular supermarket is if the add color to the fish. Our next major firearms purchase will have to wait a bit due to our medical costs this year and expected costs next year but when that time comes I'll buy my sweetie a Kimber Ultra Carry II with the Crimson Trace grips. After her brain tumor she's had difficulty at night. In fact I won't let her drive at night. A Kimber 1911 would make me more comfortable for when I'm away for work. -

Ahhh the bang bra. Perfect for when you're "packing"! I used to carry a Smith and Wesson .357 K frame when traveling or in the woods. You can see it in the leather holster in the back of the Yukon. I "downgraded" to a Ruger LCRX .38 special +P. It is just over a pound loaded. The S&W is a damn brick hanging on my hip. The LCRX is a great pocket holster gun. I used to carry a Sig Sauer 229 .40 but I had it fail to fire when it was needed. I used to ride quads and we came upon a grow site in the woods. After getting shot at I wanted to shoot 2 rounds to let them know that we were armed too. Pull the trigger and nothing. I disassembled the Sig at home and found a single grain of sand stopping the slide. It held it open .020". I'll never trust a semi auto again. My sweetie carries full time in a Montana West concealed carry purse. Her gun of choice is a Ruger LCP-S 9mm. Before everyone thinks that we are paranoid gun nuts. I was an NRA certified instructor at a Boy Scout camp. Our Sheriff's don't respond to anything after 5pm due to funding because they pissed the taxpayers off and we won't approve their bogus tax increases.
