For those that are or were wearing one, where are your incisions? Mine were on my chest and upper belly and I can't see where one would have helped me. I'm just wondering if the incision location makes the difference.

So I should weigh in here as I may have been mentioned in the original post. My badges of honor (incisions) are all in my chest and upper belly. We did play around 2 days after while still in Mexico but the full pleasure didn't happen until 5 days later and we took it slow and easy. By day 9 we were having fun as usual. I will say though that keeping moving actually made me feel better. Also I will say that the early adventures started with lotion and a back rub, as did our son! No pictures of the deed but I do have pictures of the smiley face in lotion on my wife's back on ST Patty's day 2009. My son was born 12-16-09. You do the math!

Anyone with Barrett's Esophagus?
highfunctioningfatman replied to lauratro's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My dad does but he isn't considering wls. He should be... He is diabetic as well. The only real change that he needed to make from his regular diabetic diet was the dr told him no more onions or peppers. -

So yes Virginia there really is a Santa Claus and unfortunately he blew a .07. Now I'm looking for 3 employees... Wonderful, just freaking wonderful. It would be nice if my other employee was at least fully trained but nope, he has been with me just over a month. Also December through April are our busiest months. -

I'm sitting in the waiting room of my local occupational health. I'm short 2 employees of my 5 man (Including me) crew. I'm waiting here because I have reasonable suspension of the employee mentioned above being under the influence of alcohol. I'm strongly believing that I will be a 2 man crew shortly... -

Just a tool! I've always wondered why my tools are in the garage and my projects are too but unless I'm using those tools nothing gets done. Now I know. I always thought that I had defective tools! -

Plant based diet and sleeve....
highfunctioningfatman replied to Newme17's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I agree with the above. My surgery coordinator is vegan. She was sleeved about 2 years ago and she has done reasonably well but she is nowhere near where she would like to be. If I recall correctly she has lost 60 pounds but would still like to lose another 60. -

Did You Change Your Weight Loss/Maintenance Goals for the Holidays?
highfunctioningfatman replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Food and Nutrition
I'm not that far out so my desires may be different next year. It hasn't been difficult to stay on my plan for the most part. My dad works for Harry and David where they have some amazing goodies. I'm allowing myself one evil chocolate covered cherry a day which I've only done twice even though they have been here since Thanksgiving. I also have had 2 pieces of my wife's amazing (damn near angelic) fudge. A piece of Andes mint fudge and a piece of pumpkin pie fudge. I do image that when next year rolls around that I might have a piece of pumpkin roll too but we'll see. That roll is addictive and I didn't want to be like a vampire and develop "the taste" for crack in pumpkin form. -
