Am I insane to have surgery on Wednesday and go to work Friday? I did it with gallbladder surgery (worked 2nd day after surgery) and a c-Section same way (worked 4th day after surgery).....is it much worse than those? I had a baby this year and have no time to take. Am a fast healer and never took pain meds with 3 sections or post-gallbladder surgeries. Thx Working beyond grief for a better life!

Jen, No worries! Just didn't want to be "a newbie who was promoting not sticking to plan"....my thought is that if someone was going to eat them, I was going to possibly offer an alternative that would provide more than just carbs lesser of evils I suppose!! If I needed a few days they'd give me it, but we are a small company and they already have me paid time off with the birth of my son so I am trying to not take advantage of the fact they're very sweet and supportive people. I'm planning for this and only unless absolutely necessary will my plan change. Its a desk job with a lot of leeway and autonomy (i.e. I can get up and go walk when needed, close my door and work if needed, etc.) It's great to hear some people who have similar healing and pain styles say it's possible (CaitlynT, etc). I didn't even mention the next weekend my family is moving into a new home. Lol Working beyond grief for a better life!
