    3 more monthly weigh-ins!

I have trouble with binge eating also. The only thing that helps me is keeping my hands busy. In the past i would paint or draw, crochet or knit. Trying to get back into that but Netflix...soooo...yeah lol. It's rough but now, the biggest motivator for me is when i try on clothes and am actually down a size. Omg what a high. I usually get back on track if I've been bad or stay on track and go harder. I highly recommend it if you're feeling down and need motivation. Or just try on old clothes to see if they are looser. If all else fails chug water lol. I used to do that and then go to sleep lol. Id have to pee something fierce when i woke up but i didn't eat lol. Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. I was at at the end of my 29th year when i got sleeved. I had actually gotten a referral in 2012 but tried to do it myself and failed miserably time and time again like every other time. So glad i did it when i did. I don't have kids yet and had diabetes, elevated bp and elevated cholesterol. None of those are issues now and i am now 30 and almost 8 months post op. Get it as early as you can. I was more ready when i got it so im not too upset. Just wish i had gotten it before i had all the obesity complications. 6. I always feel like I'm still 272lbs again. I can't shake feeling like I'm still too big. I know im smaller but i still feel like I'm not small enough. As a result i think I've been anxiety eating. Getting it together starting tomorrow. Thanks for the motivation and making me not feel like I'm crazy. 7. My process started Nov 2015. I was supposed to have it in July last year but it got held up because of miscommunication. So i ended up having it in October. It's frustrating but just think of it as more time to work on your diet and mind. It's a lot harder than i ever imagined to stay on track and i wish i worked on it more pre op. Good luck hun. Hang in there. It'll happen. Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app

    HOP INTO SPRING CHALLENGE!!

@Dashofpixiedust8, i really need to get back to tracking. I have a food scale now and barely use it. I guess i just have no idea where to start. It's like I'm back at square one. I have all these ideas and fluff in my head and i can't make sense of it lol. My nutritionist is cool with me eating more carbs but i feel like i need to get a better handle on my protein before i really incorporate carbs on a regular basis. Even tho i have my cheats i really don't eat carbs in my regular diet. No crackers, rice, potatoes and stuff like that. But lately I haven't been paying much attention and taking bites of others foods and drinking whenever regardless of when i last had a bite. I need a kick in the ass. Stopping all the crap today. Thanks for the motivation. Im not ruining all the hard work I've put in just for food. Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app

    HOP INTO SPRING CHALLENGE!!

Cw: 168.6 5/13/17 I forgot to add this yesterday. So ashamed of myself. Getting back on track with my protein and water. This challenge is helping me in ways i didn't think it would. But if im being honest with myself i think the big loss last time was from barely keeping anything down and little carbs. Im doing better keeping food down and constipated i think. So I'm still going to count it as a victory since I'm still out of the 170s. Hope i can get to goal by the time this challeng ends. Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Tailbone pain??????

I dont know if that was the same episode i watched but i saw a girl have part of her tailbone removed also and it freaked me out. I didnt even know you could do that! My tailbone has been killing me also and it's making life that much more difficult with all the other back pain i've been dealing with for the past SEVERAL years. Im hoping somewhere down the line with plastics i can get a butt lift and transfer some fat and hopefully the extra padding will help. But at this point i'm just dealing with it and trying to make accommodations where i can.

    Some crunch needed for tuna

It was hard for me too but i was so excited to have tuna i didn't even CARE if i had anything crunchy with it lol. I just had to think about it like "yay i can have tuna now!" Not, "damn i can't have bread with it." Now if i have tuna i MIGHT have crackers or something but mostly i will have pickles or lettuce to wrap it in or just eat it by itself. I DO have carbs note and then but i make sure if or when i do it fits within my macros for that day and I've had my protein. Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Top Chef

Im almost 7 months out and im obsessed lol. It was the worst in the beginning. During the pre op and post op stages where i couldn't really eat and was on liquids. I watched hours of YouTube videos of this tiny Japanese woman just eating POUNDS of food at a time. Then i would binge watch food network and cooking channel. But i can't just watch any food shows. I need travel food shows like Diners, Drive ins and Dives, carnival eats, bizarre foods (and every bizarre foods incarnation), and probably some others but those are my current heavy hitters. I don't know what it is but there is just something really comforting and relaxing about just mindlessly watching someone eat or looking at amazing looking food being made. Love it. Totally obsessed lol. Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app

    DOES BUTT GET SMALLER?

I never had a butt to begin with. But it's much worse now. This tail bone pain is serious. Lost my boobs fast and its only gotten worse. But genetics didn't dictate a the best snap back lol. Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Birth Control

The pharmacist that saw me in the hospital post surgery didn't encourage pills. She said they wouldn't be able to cycle in the stomach as long as it needs to so it wouldn't be as affective. I feel like that makes sense but im probably just going to look up different iuds. Thanks for your input. It made me feel a bit better. Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app

I can relate to all of this. Except im not married with kids. But im dealing with a lot right now and it all just seems like too much. I almost thought i wrote this because I've been feeling the same way. Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app

    NSV

Walking up a hill was a huge nsv for me. And i didn't realize i did it until my boyfriend bought it up after we walked up it. He said "you just walked up hill and didn't complain once. You are usually throwing a fit before we even get to it." But truth be told i didn't even notice. I wasn't even winded. It's a beautiful feeling isn't it? lol Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Birth Control

I've been thinking of an iud or going back on pills. Im leaning towards iud. Im just scared it can become misplaced during sex or something. Or if my partner can feel it. That and the cramping and the implantation of device kills. Not looking forward to that. Sent from my SM-G925T using BariatricPal mobile app
