    Protein shakes

I can't stand them, so I use a powder to make Protein balls and then eat the rest of my protein to make my goal for the day. It is doable without over eating, but not many people do it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. Try taking a probiotic everyday, I found this helped with prevention though rather than to treat it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    2 weeks post op

I find that a combination of exercise and the right foods help. But have you taken measurements, cause every time I get annoyed with the scales I take measurements and try on clothes that haven't fit me in a while and they either fit or are too big. So that helps me feel better when the scales aren't cooperating lol. I also find that I physically feel better when I exercise, even if it's just a walk, but I didn't start any kind of exercise till 2.5 weeks post op. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    2 weeks post op

Yes, mine slowed down considerably, to about 2 lbs a week. Which is still awesome, just hard to adjust you when you get used to 2 lbs a day. But that being said I'm now 7 weeks out and have lost 5 lbs in 2 days. So I think it takes a while for your body to adjust to real food again. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. It took 2 weeks till I was completely pain free. The second week was way more bearable than the first. Maybe you need some better pain drugs to get you through?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. It should, mine still shows it. But it doesn't record your food and show the pop up unless, as a female you eat 1000 calories or more a day. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. Okay ladies, I'm just over 5 weeks post op gastric sleeve, including my pre op diet I've lost 20kgs or 44lbs. But today I tried on an outfit that hasn't fit me in four years and I look better in it now than I did then I'm so glad I tried it on today as my weight loss had really slowed down, which I know is normal, but still made me a little sad. My gastric sleeve journal

The bowels get better when you move to real food, well mine did. But I use ducolax when they weren't as it stimulates your intestines rather than being a straight up laxative and it's a liquid. You're doing really well, keep it up ???? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
