During my purée stage I loved Spag bog like you'd make it regularly just minus the pasta. I also added grated veggies and bacon [emoji4] It's a great consistency and feels like real food [emoji4]

Hey, thanks it took me about 3 months and moving back to real food, obviously in much smaller portions, to feel normal again. I hate Protein shakes so I eat all my protein, the only supplement I use is in protein balls which I eat for Breakfast. I track everything using MFP and joined a gym about a month ago and go 3 times a week doing a mix of cardio and weights a play netball once a week too. But my surgery date was 7th June 2016. I promise it gets easier, but I have been lucky I can eat pretty much anything but steer clear of complex carbs, most processed foods and all take away and eat minimal real carbs. Eat slowly and stop before you feel sick. Make sure you're at home when you try something new in case it's no good. If you use MFP you can friend me on there and see my diary??? Just let me know

I'm in Australia too, Qld I use MyFitnessPal and love it for tracking Protein and calories. I'm 5 months out and 17kg or 37.5lbs from my goal. I've noticed that the closer I get to my goal the more my weight loss has slowed. From about 5-10kg or 11-22lbs a month in the first 3 months to about 2-3kg or 4.5-6.5lbs a month now. But it feels like the shape of my body is changing all the time. Did you take measurements when you started? I still take them about once a month. HW - 140kg or 308lbs SW - 132.5kg or 291.5lbs CW - 92kg or 202.5lbs

I had a high BMI and about 40lbs of that was weight I put on at the beginning of the year cause I was diagnosed with a chronic illness and the drug they had to use to treat it causes mass weight gain on the dose I had to be on. I know you're probs sick of hearing it, but everyone really is different. I also detest Protein shakes so I eat 90 grams of protein a day, minimum.

I'm almost 4 months post op and down just shy of 90lbs. I keep saying I need to go to a supermarket and get out 90lbs or oranges or flour or something just to see how much it is to help my brain adjust.

Downloaded this app last night, it's awesome [emoji4] Wish I'd known about it when I started my journey. Anyone pre surgery should defs download it, if you like apps and find tracking cathartic like I do [emoji4]

Water is important, especially if you're doing cardio exercise. Why'd you drop it? -

Brisbane Sleevers - less than 1.5 weeks till surgery
Jobey replied to Jobey's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hey @@Feekenstein I'm great now, first 2.5 weeks post op were the hardest but I'm now 3.5 months out and 34kg down [emoji4] I've had a pretty hard year and this surgery and how much better I feel physically and mentally are the reason I've made it this far. My surgeon was Dr Blair Bowden at The Wesley he was awesome, good bedside manner and excellent surgeon [emoji4] -
@@Ebony Rose I feel great now and I weighed in this morning and it's 34 now [emoji4] I wanna lose a total of 65kg all up [emoji4]
-
Yay, I asked him about it last night and he apologised and told me he wanted us to be a couple and gave me a key to his place [emoji4] There are still actually good guys out there [emoji4]
-
I'm from Brisbane too, no way lol This was honestly the best thing I've done for myself in years. I'm 31, 3.5 months post op and I've lost 33.5kg meaning I'm halfway to my goal Who's doing your surgery?

And this was after I asked him to come to a wedding with me on Saturday and he said yes!! What do I do??

OMFG the guy that I've been seeing for a month now where nothing has been made offical, other than the fact that it's exclusive was on freaking Tinder last night when I was at his house! Now I'm all kinds of confused, I really like him and now I don't know if it's mutual or not
-
If someone told me, they were dating someone other than me regardless of what date number it was, i'd be outta there! Now, don't get me wrong I'm not saying don't date more than 1 person at a time, but heck don't tell them about it. How rude. You inspired me @@SleeveSoon I deleted Tinder this morning

Stretching stomach in the beginning
Jobey replied to tenseintexas's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I don't know if this is true or not but I read and was told that you can't stretch your stomach till it's fully healed at 3 months. I was also told by my surgeon that if you don't follow the guidelines you can stretch out a sleeve to the same size your stomach was before. Again this is just from my research and experiences, I'm no Dr lol -
Please post the recipe!!Thanks! Hey I can't post the recipe cause it's in the wrong format. But if you pm me your email I can send it to you k.crystal1@yahoo.com Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App I think I sent you the recipe in the first lot I sent out?

Well if you really like her and see potential for something more then delete POF. Or ask yourself how you would feel if you knew she was doing what you are tempted to do? Think about Internet dating as the same as real life but worst cause you're more trackable on the net if someone knows what they're doing.
-
But I suppose it depends if you like her or not?? Cause if I found out this guy was still using Tinder I'd be hurt. But you could ask her about exclusivity rather than a full on convo about what you are?
-
I'm in the same situation with Tinder. I met someone who I really like and have been seeing him for just over 3 weeks and I'm no longer using Tinder. But I don't think he's deleted it yet and I don't think I'm ready for us to talk about it and me not sounding like a crazy girl lol

Down 70lbs in 3 months and loving it

What is that first post-op week like?
Jobey replied to SamPSUfan's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think I struggled to drink 600ml my first day post op and now I can do 2000ml a day easy. Just keep keeping on and you'll be amazed how quickly the time passes. This part is the hardest until you reach maintenance [emoji4]
