I am 3 weeks post op zo a little nervous that somethi g may go wrong a few years down the road. I saw a statistic somewhere saying 80% of lapbanders will have there bad removex within 10years due to problems. ... ??? Anyone have some encouraging words on this? 5. I'm 3 weeks post op. Last week while eating I got severe pain in my chest, felt like I'd been stabbed in the chest. Lasted all night, I felt the pain slighter for 3 days... Although the pain is gone now, I'm curious to know what it might have been. I never want to feel it again. Almost like swallowing an ice cube that won't go down but much much worse!
