Hello ladies!!! I've been MIA but I always have you in my thoughts I always wonder how you guys are doing and progressing I am so far 84 pounds down...there are some days I can't believe this is still me! My hair definitely fell off in clumps so I went for the big chop and went very short and absolutely love it. Had some issues with blood and Iron loss needed transfusions but things are looking up...have you guys had issues accepting what you see in the mirror? Have you gotten your labs done? I just did my three month work up and I'm so low on Iron I need infusions done...my hematologist says I'm probably experiencing so many bad symptoms Bcuz of this he said ppl really have no clue how severe anemia can affect you...I hope this subsides for you Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal

What surgery did you have I get that because of the duodenal Switch (sips). It's basically any fat your body isn't absorbing comes right out. If you're eating anything high in fat in combo with not drinking much that'll do it to you. I have learned to never trust a fart lol...I normally wear a panty liner in the back just in case. If I put them on at night I usually put them On My hip I notice they stay on well or on my shoulder blade...I get my three month check up on a few weeks let's see if these have helped bcuz like you the chewables makes me so nauseous maybe once everything settles I can resume the Vitamins Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal

Hey ladies just an update almost 40 pounds down I'm very happy I'm finally able to hold down liquids fairly well...the issue seemed to be whey Protein actually (either the whey is too heavy or I have developed a slight lactaid intolerance) "sleevette" (my sleeve name) seems to be very picky so I'm trying hemp protein and other forms such as chicken and I seem to be doing well. I got the okay to go back to work on the 25th and I can go to gym as long as I take it easy and listen to my body...looking forward to returning to my normal routine. I'm also learning to look at food as a source of nourishment and not something to enjoy and as weird as that sounds it helps me to not over indulge and try to scarf down food or eat too fast which was very unpleasant. Hello ladies glad to hear most of you are feeling well...I'm frustrated I definitely get my liquids in but all Proteins and most foods are making me nauseous I take zofran and it helps but it doesn't completely stop it. I constantly feel sick and I'm getting so depressed because of it. My surgeon isn't paying me any mind tells me it's my anxiety but I know it's not...I get these strong pains at night that are so bad I have to take a pain pill sometimes two...I'm wondering if it's my gallbladder I am going to ask my pcp to look into it, I feel so helpless and frustrated Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal @ I am so happy for you I know you must feel great I actually did some comparison photos today and couldn't believe my eyes

@ I took Benadryl for mine when I had them randomly break out I chose the children's chewable was easier and didn't make me fall asleep but It was safe for me two days post op I'm sure now wouldn't be an issue Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
