I have a mass on my right ovary the other 4 are on or in my utereus. They are doing a full hysterectomy. SO i imagine my weight loss will slow down. I keep telling myself slow and steady wins the race.

I am almost 4 months out from RNY and now I have to have a hysterectomy!!! I am worried what this will do with my weight loss. I talked to my bariatric doctor who agreed I need to have it done. She said it might slow my weight loss process. I am a slow loser anyways I have lost 52 lbs since surgery and 43 on my 6 month diet before surgery.

5 days for me

That is the best way to go really. I had to do a 6 month diet. Right away they had me replace breakfast with a protein shake. I was very nervous cause i was going on a cruise. I did replace breakfast with my protein shake and I lost 7 pound just by doing that. Including going on vacation. The next month they had me replace breakfast and lunch with a protein shake. I lost 30 pounds in 6 months. I think it has also made the liver shrinking diet easier. I am on day 5 of my liver shrinking diet and so far it hasn't been as bad as I thought it was going to be.
