I got my date FINALLY! February 23, 2017!!! I should have had my surgery in January but my original doctor left Cleveland Clinic to move overseas and head up the Bariatric Unit in Abu Dhabi. So it took a month for Cleveland Clinic to find another doctor to do my surgery on February 24. I was in complete tears when I got the call last friday saying the second doctor I was scheduled with is on medical leave as of today. They said they could not guarantee when he would be returning or when my surgery would be but I could wait for him or they can check with the other doctors and see if they had a opening. I got a call and I am now scheduled a day earlier with Dr. Schauer. I am so ready for this! Let's hope third time is the charm!
