Walk walk walk is all I would hear the doctors and nurses say when mom had her surgery it helps move the gases out and relieves the gas pain, swelling is Water retention as well and that's why your weight is more than what it was before, give it some time and stick to your diet you'll be fine. Today I went in for my pre op class and was told since we were given a goal weight that the pre op diet would only be for the two days before the surgery, so two days before surgery doing the purée food then Clear liquids the day before. I have Kaiser and they have a really great Bariatric program that offers pre and post op support and information, my mother had the surgery and didn't have to go thru a lot of what I went thru with her insurance. I have my pre op class tomorrow and pre op appointment on Thursday, I'm scheduled for surgery for June 7th so I assume I'll be placed on the pre op diet this week, I'm so nervous but also excited. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
