  1. I am 2 months out and I make some very odd noises..
  2. I am exactly 2 months post op and I was just able to eat 8 0z of cream of broccoli Soup in 30 mins for lunch I do not feel stuffed but a little full. Is that too much to be able to eat? I am so paranoid of stretching my sleeve.

    Weight is not going down

You have lost 48 pounds in 2 months...That is fantastic!! Be proud of yourself !! I agree with @kindle. "Your issues are very easy to fix......You need to be getting 60-80g of Protein and minimum 64oz Water. Those are the two most important elements to losing weight. Nix the granola and sugary yogurt and fruit and replace all of them with high protein foods" I was sleeved 3/25/16. My start weight was 306 before preop diet. Now I am 258. I have about 30grams protein a day. Have difficulty with water. My usual day: breakfast- Greek fat free whipped yogurt with 2 spoons of granola. Lunch- any type of Soup. Dinner- can be anything. What ever I cook for family. But I do eat fruits. Any sample menus? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. @@rhansen that is what my surgeon told me. I have a "tight spot" ( stricture. I have a meeting with the GI Dr. They want me to have it "stretched" but I am so worried they will stretch it too much. I had my hiatal hernia fixed at the same time as the sleeve. Maybe that is my issue also. I went back on liquids for 2 weeks also. My acid refux is terrible and that foam is "gross"...lol lol
  6. I was sleeved 8 weeks ago. My first 4 weeks were great, then my issues started. I started having nauseous bouts and everything I ate or drank was coming back up. I went to my check up with my surgeon and he said I was extremely dehydrated. He pumped me full of 2 bags of fluids gave me a Vitamin B1 and 12 shot. I was suppose to feel better within a day. I went then weekend with no relief. Surgeon called Monday to check and they sent me to get an upper GI. When the surgeon called with the results he said I had a "tight spot" and I had a choice: 1) doing nothing and hope the spot will stretch on its own (and the stomach above the "spot" doesn't just stretch itself and cause me to have dumping later on) OR 2) have the GI Dr. go in and stretch it some. I have been tolerating food a little better lately and getting my fluids in but still not able to get the daily requirements. My questions are : Has anyone had this issue? If so what did you choose to do? and even if you have not what are your thoughts? I have a consultation with the GI Dr. this coming Monday and will need to make a decision...I DO NOT want it stretched too much in fear the surgery will be a waste. So confused....

    As of today?

    8 weeks since surgery HW : 220 SW: 220 CW: 185
  8. I was sleeved the 22nd of March, one day prior to you . As of today I have lost 35 pounds. I agree with the other comments. Everyone is different. My surgeon did not give me any monthly goals but also told me I had to loose 70 pounds (but no time frame). Stay your course you are doing GREAT !!
  9. I have the exact same issue as you. I had an upper GI done and it showed a tightness at my hiatal hernia sight. I go on the 23rd to have it stretched. I can tolerate liquids and Soups and some mashed foods but that is about it. I have been throwing up and nauseous the whole last 6 weeks. I can eat some cheese but supper tiny bites chewed until it is gone and eat very very slowly. I suggest you "demand" and upper GI to see if everything is flowing correctly. Good luck...know you are not alone.
