Vitamin zero helps a lot. I can drink 2-3 per day, decaf coffee in the AM, iced herbal tea in the evening. That comes to about 80-90 oz per day. I find that if I drink loads of fluids I'm not that hungry. I have a protein shake in the morning with almond milk. This also counts as fluids.
There are always a potential for complications with any surgery! You do the research, write any concerns you have down and ask your MD about them. You have to keep in mind that people that aren't having this type of surgery always look at the down side. You need to do what is best for you. I am almost 1 yr post-op any look at my weight loss as positive. I don't take blood pressure medicine anymore( from 2 days after surgery). My joints don't hurt and I can walk my dogs without getting winded. I have lost 80 lbs with just following what my Dr tells me. I am more active now than I have been in 10 yrs. Think positive and think about You!

This is common. I did the same thing. Always think small! Only one bite at a time, slow! Sipping fluids slowly and waiting for that feeling in your stomach. If you still have problems, you need to address this with your doctor during follow up visit! Best of luck to you.
