Our anniversary was the very next week and we just went antique stores all over town until I was exhausted I was not out of surgery long. But he made it special and bought me tons of cool stuff. Thank you. I am scared to increase my food intake I am scared I am going to stretch my pouch. I eat about 4 table spoons at dinner. 1 egg at Breakfast and try to drink some Protein at lunch. That is why I had gastric bypass instead of doing all of that dr. Really wanted me to have the sleeve but it was my money and I chose the gastric bypass. I have two friends that are married one had gastric bypass the other had the sleeve. The one with gastric bypass can not eat fried food a lot of fat or sugar. The one that had the sleeve after a couple months out she's all kinds of stuff Donuts Fried chicken he looks great and she's gaining weight back. macaroni and cheese as health food to her in her case she really should have had the gastric bypass I can't even tell by looking at her if she lost any weight. I had gastric bypass surgery they told us no soda ever which is fine with me I wasn't a real soda person. But I have always been very much a Water person and now it tastes like perfume I have to force myself to drink it and I don't like anything else really really bothers me. My face has never been big if you don't know me in person and you're just a Facebook friend or something like that you would have no clue that I have a weight problem. However at the DMV it's quite funny because I have always put that I weigh hundred and twenty-five pounds no matter how much I weigh I am a natural blonde who dyes my hair black that always throws people off because I've had the same driver's license for years. As far as the weight thing goes at the DMV they always ask me are you sure your information is correct and I smile and say yes! I dare them to tell me that it's not right. You're going to have your license for years so who are they to say I wasn't a hundred and twenty-five pounds when the picture was taken. My husband enjoys going out to dinner I go with him and I can always find something on the menu like Soup or Beans I can never eat it all but I am happy that I'm not stopping him from doing what he loves. I have two sisters that had the surgery one of them turned to alcohol and she never drank before Chelsea got very conceited and almost lost her husband cuz she was being promiscuous with other men Luckily everything got better for her and she's doing well now I've heard that people will replace one addiction with another I am positive that I will be a gym rat because that's what happened last time I lost a lot of weight. My sister had a gobbler after she had surgery she's 15 years in. Don't agree with everybody else as the years have gone by hers shrunk to where it looks pretty good. I lost a hundred thirty pounds before in 2013 and I didn't get any hanging skin anywhere if I have really good elasticity I've always been complimented by my skin I'm 56 years old and you couldn't tell so I think it depends on your elasticity. I was 100 pounds after I had all 3 children I gave birth at 115 pounds. My children have never been a factor. I had so many heavy people in my family i was frantic about not becoming one cuz of genetics. In my late 30s I was brutally raped in front of my children in my home by a stranger in let in to use the phone. After that I went up and down with my weight if men hit on me I would gain weight. I would get less attention feel safe. And lose it again this was a back and forth thing. Then my brother was killed by a drunk driver and in the same week my father-in-law shot himself I found him! That was it i quit my job and for a year I did nothing but sit on the couch I got huge. I lost the weight in 2013 down 130 pounds kept in off for a year drinking Medifast shakes only 500 calories a day. When I stopped I gained it all back and more. So here I am. I lost 40 pounds in 4 months pre-op and my Dr questioned if I really needed surgery. I told him I am great a starving myself but I can't keep it off it just isn't realistic. Lipstick lady I only do mostly liquids. And like one egg and even my Beans I have it blended. I eat about 4 table spoons per meal. This morning I listen to someone on here and added some mozzarella cheese to my egg and I for the first time got dumping. I am not doing that again. Levita you are on week 3 and already eating rice and tried fried foods? I am in week 3 and still on cream Soups And soft foods like cottage cheese. And I am supposed to avoid rice Pasta stuff like that or have very little ever. And fried foods is also a big big never. Funny how doctors are different.
