    OHP (a type of Medicaid)

I think you have to have diabetes now in order to have ohp cover it. I got incredibly lucky last year when I was approved because I didn't have any co-morbitities other than a bmi of 43. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

Nice!! I have several friends that see her, and love her. I live in Bend, and my schedule is unpredictable. So I stayed with Archer. But I really like him. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

I was accepted into the program at Dr Archer's in November. We submitted to insurance on Wednesday. I was approved for surgery less that 24 hours later. So happy!! Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

RNY because I have a pretty severe hiatal hernia and chronic gastritis. Dr Archer at BMC is doing it. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

Nope, I don't. In November ohp lifted that requirement. However, now you must have it to get surgery I believe. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

Hi! I live in Bend and I have OHP. We have 2 clinics here. One in Redmond--Dr. Hughes. The one in Bend is Dr. Archer. They both operate at St Charles which is a center of excellence. There is also a Dr in Coos Bay-- Bay bariatrics. His name is Dr. Tersigni. I just submitted yesterday to ohp and received my approval today!!! My surgery is scheduled for 6/14. I could have gone next Tuesday if I wanted! But I just couldn't swing it on my end. I started this process on 12/29
