I was told the same thing, my doctor told there was a chance I wouldn't get sleeved the same day but thank God I woke up sleeved the same day...was banded for 4 years with no complications except that I had gained 30lbs back so that's why I decided to get sleeved... Me too had band to sleeve with doctor Russo and he had told me that there was a chance I was not going to get sleeved the same day but if everything looked good he would do it and he did, so I got sleeved the same day...very good doctor by the way... HELP & ADVICE - SHOULD I DO THE REVISION?
nina1562 replied to mecub71's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I had the lap band for 4 years and never had any problems with it until it stopped working for me and gain almost 30lbs back so I decided to get sleeved...I got sleeved June 23rd and so far I been doing great with no complications and hope to continue doing the same! My first post op appointment was 2 weeks after my surgery and lost 17lbs... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using the BariatricPal App -
@@denise250 I'm doing great and hope to continue doing the same. I was never in much pain so didn't need pain medication after 2nd day after surgery. I went to my first post op appointment on July 7th and had lost 17 lbs in 2 weeks...I'm in the puree stage and doing good no problems swallowing so far. The only problem for me is getting all my liquids in, it seems like I need more hours in a day but other than that no regrets. Thanks for asking!????
