Im 6 weeks out and I miss it a bit but I know it gets better as time passes and that later on I will be allowed to atleast a couple of drinks. All in times worth. So Im 5weeks post op tomorrow and I have lost near 40lbs all together. My weight loss is noticeable and people are starting to ask me what I have done to loose weight. I notice that I dont mind telling people am close with but with others I feel uncomfortable. What did guys say to people when they asked you how you lost the weight? Im confused on what to say. I was treated for it also. My doc put me on a 2 week treatment 4 pills in the morning and 4 at night. I hated drinking so many pills. Im finally done and is a relieve. So Im not a great swimmer but I can swim a bit. Im really interested in taking up swimming as my main exercise once Im cleared for workouts. Today is exactly 1 month I got my surgery. Im feeling better after a few complications I had. Im finally starting to feel like I have more energy and Im ill be back to work tuesday. And doc said I can start soft foods tuesday also. So far all together I have gone from 234 lbs to 198lbs and hopefully once I start the gym there will be more weight loss. Im one month out and I went through that and is the worst feeling ever. I couldnt even swallow pills. My doc put me on a treatment for 2 weeks and Im feeling sooo much better. Talk to your surgeon and see what other options he has. I dont feel any pain anymore and no reflux. Talk to your surgeon and see what he says. It will as you heal. Try gas x strips. I did and it helped but truthfully it will go away as you heal. Ill be 4 weeks post op tomorrow and Im now starting to see the gas relief. Good luck Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App
