I'm 6 months post op. For the first 4 months I had my period EVERY SINGLE DAY. it was a blood bath. Someone on here said a crime scene. Omg. It was ridiculous. I was buying Super Plus tampons (I didn't even know plus existed!). And I was changing them often. As a result I was absolutely exhausted. Lethargic. BUT as of last month & again this month - I am happy to tell you that my period has tapered off. I'm back to getting it once a month for about 5 days. It's still heavier than it used to be. 6 months post op. I cheated badly last night by eating 8 Peanut Butter Cookies. I'm back on track today. I was just so curious if I could actually eat them. Here's my question/concern - why was I able to eat so many w/o any discomfort??? I didn't get a tummy ache, spit up or any form of 'dumping '. How is that possible after 8 cookies??? Hi. 5 months post op. I've been taking gummy Vitamins daily since April. They were pre approved by my medical team. Are you seeking ongoing therapy? Keep that in mind when you go. I went to the referred therapist because it was required. The experience was a joke. But it got me one step closer to the surgery. Odds are you'll be approved faster if you go to who your doctor referred you to. You definitely want to go to a doc who understands bariatric surgery - so insurance approves you. Good luck! I'm nearly 2 months post op. I haven't dined out or drank alcohol for over 2 months. Next week I have to travel for work. I'll be out of the safety of my own environment. ANY ADVISE PLEASE.
