My Story began at a really young age, I was overweight the minute I was born. I was cute and chubby until I was around 6 then I wasn't cute chubby but just chubby. My parents both worked so we never had home cooked meals and no one ever bothered to talk to me or my siblings about our health. We would eat pizza whenever we wanted and when we went grocery shopping we just threw everything into the cart. My mom lost both her parents before she was 5 and grew up poorer than dirt; because of that she worked really hard to make sure we never went without anything we wanted, especially food. I always knew I was fat but it wasn't a huge problem for me and I NEVER tried to diet, even in High School. When I got to High School my parents had divorced and my mom got sick so with that my endless supply of any foods I wanted went away. I ended up moving with my older sister my freshman year of high school and had to walk and take the bus to school and eat whatever diet she was on. I ended up losing 23 pounds that year without "trying". I stayed at the same weight until roughly my senior year even though I had increased my walking to about 10 a week and started running a mile at school I did nothing to change my diet. I wasn't doing anything to "lose weight" but it was my normal since my school had us exercise everyday. Then I got pregnant and only gained the bay weight; the day after I had him I weighed the exact same as I had on my first OB App. Then I went on birth control and that's when everything changed. I was so in awe of my new son that I didn't even care about how I looked, I started college and an internship and was working...I would eat at random hours of the day, nothing healthy. Pizza was again family time. Once I was hired at my internship the pounds really started to cake on. I had a comfy desk job and a new car, no more buses or walking. I don't even remember throwing out my old clothes or having to buy new clothes...I feel like I was in zombie mode for two years and then I woke up and I was huge. The minute I hit 275 I knew I had a problem, I started crash dieting and wasting so much money on yoyo dieting. Finally 5 years later I am ready to take my life back.
