    Thyroid

Yes. I have hashimotos and had sleeve April 28. I was approved since my thyroid was in control with meds. I am experiencing"hunger" which other posters are not and I have a sneaking suspicion it's my thyroid disease and "dead" metabolism Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Depressed

Yes. You are not alone. My surgery was April 28 and I too lost 20 lbs so far. I am depressed if I am alone or not at work. So stay busy doing things you love. I told my husband and son they have to cook for themselves until I am on regular food. Not sure if you can do that but I strongly suggest it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Newbie

Yes! I am one week post op. Neither the nutritionist or the surgeon understood or believed me. I am ravenous. The liquid diet is not satisfying but of course I am sticking to it so as not to ruin my stitches. I am very upset that so few people who had the sleeve report this phenomenon. Everyone is saying how full they feel and I'm like "not me" Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
