Oh how I wish I was at goal, but I'm only starting. I've had a good head start with 41 lbs list prior to and since surgery 1 week ago. Can someone tell me if the weight loss stops or slows down once you stop drinking the all liquids and go to the pureed stage, then the regular food stage. What should I expect? I had the sleeve, and I'm so happy I'm finally able to lose weight. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App -

@@Lizardlady a rule of thumb 45 grams of carbs per meal. This is a typical diabetic diet. I think what you have to keep in mind is fruit is a good carb because it has Fiber, and a lot of veggies have carbs in them too. 40 carbs per day is unrealistic and unhealthy. My pre-op diet was 2 weeks of Protein shakes 3 times a day with 1 Greek yogurt snack, sugar free Jello, and broth. I started early by drinking 1 shake per day for 3 days, then 2 shakes per day for 3 days, then the 3 per day just so I could work up to it. It was still difficult the first 3 days of it, but not as bad if I had not prepared. I'm 1 week post-op now, and still on this diet for 1 more week. I am going to be so glad to see pureed food lol. But I have lost 40 lbs so it pays off. Good luck, and I don't think it's stupid. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

I think Avafern is on to something, but I would approach it non-threatening first. Gently confront her about what she says to you. Ask her why she says those things, and then let her know you really don't appreciate them. Is she overweight? Whose statements sound, like insecurities of her own coming out. If she continues or says something nasty when you ask her, then tell her to knock it off or you're going to HR next time. Bullies in the work place will continue to Bully you if you don't stand up to her, so if she is one, take her down. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
