    Junk Food!

Thank you, thats the other problem is never knowing if I eat enough, my typical day (without any screwups) consists of greek yogurt (80 cals) for breakfast, Protein shake (150 cals) between breakfast and lunch, greek yogurt (80 cals) for lunch, slices of cheese (160 cals) between lunch and dinner, and then whatever for dinner, whether its another yogurt because I have a new found high liking to it, mashed potatoes, or Soup (80-160 cals) and then I will drink 2-3 cups of coffee (16-24oz each) with fat free half, and a 24oz bottle of Water if I remember to drink it. So about 600-700 cals a day.

    Junk Food!

So I only had surgery on March 1, 2016. I am down 51lbs but seem to be veering off track. I am having a hard time with chocolate. I can not stay away from it, if I see it, I eat it. Same also goes for other foods. If I am home for dinner I eat whatever is put on the table to some extent. For example tonight, it was breakfast for dinner, french toast, eggs, home frys, and bacon. Well about 6 pieces of cubed homeys, 2 slices of bacon, and a scrambled egg I walked away. That is still unacceptable. The other night it was chicken wings, 4 chicken wings later I got up. I don't get what is so hard to stay away from things. When I am working things are fine, I pack yogurt, protein shake, some cheese, and a sugar free pudding and thats my days worth of consumption until dinner. I also have a hard time getting my liquids in, I think this may be the reason why I get light headed quite often when I stand up. I am 5'6 196lbs and before surgery when I was at 250 it never happened. Any suggestions, hints, tips, etc, anything, especially for the eating??
  4. I had the band initially and gained 25lbs, IDK how it managed to happen as I couldnt eat much due to everything getting stuck and the pains that came along with it. I then went back and had all the fluid drained after going through test after test to figure out what was going on. I gave up for awhile and then decided that since I started this journey already I might as well finish it as I continued to look in the mirror and continued to be disgusted with what I saw and how I ate. I got the approval from the insurance to get the band out and have the sleeve completed. I had the surgery March 1, 2016 and as of today I hit -50lbs. Best decision I have ever made and I enjoy healthier foods that I didn't used to. It may also be because I don't have to eat a ton to get my fill so it works out great. Good luck!
  5. I was doing the Atkins shakes for awhile which I really liked but wanted to go to something that closely shadowed the reccommendations that were given to us. I switched to Cellucor Whey Protein that I got from GNC. It comes in a variety of flavors, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry milkshake, Cookies and cream, Peanut Butter marshmallow, cookie dough, etc. I am using the peanut marshmallow one now which in One scoop has 130 calories, 25g of protein, 1g fat, 4g carb, and 2g sugar. http://www.gnc.com/Cellucor-COR-Performance-Whey-Protein/product.jsp?productId=68165746&cp=3593182.3703232
