I have cigna also, it's better to present them with so much info that they can't refuse. Keep a log of what and how much you ate in 90 days. Also if you excerised and if you drank 64 fluids of Water, that really helps, also if you have any gym memberships, or if you had one within the past 3 years. 1 week post op. Moved to full liquids. Had half of some cream of shrimp Soup. Tolerated it well. Very southing. No more pain and feeling wonderful. Went back to work, glad to be back. I'm a week out and still experiencing gas. 3 days post op I was walking on the treadmill. I walked and walked. Still today 7 days out I have gas, and I've have had a bowel movements every day. Oh my you live dangerously. You really have to be careful. Putting food down a 1 week post op sleeve could rip you open and cause you serious harm. When you feel like that drink a high Protein drink. I have to say this has been the most painful surgery I've been through, wish I could fast foward through the recovery process..lol I do believe each day is getting better, but only getting 30 grams of Protein in a day after 30 I feel like I just ate a whole thanksgiving meal. Day 2, was rough ride home but made it. I'm doing ok. Protein is not going down as easy as it use to but I am drinking my fluids. Already my pcp is worrying about my blood pressure being to low but I assured her I feel better when it's low. Just going to have to keep an eye on it while loosing weight. Surgery is June 28th, I'm so scared but so darn excited. I've been heavy for 24 years, I'm just exited to loose this damn weight and excited to eat healthy. One year ago on June 16th, I had a massive heart attack at 43 years old, my lad was 100 % blocked and my RCA was 99% blocked. I have 3 Stents all together. So the only reason I'm scared is my heart. I did have permanent heart damage to my left side. But I have turned my diet around as far as eating more lean meats and vegetables and fruits, I just sometimes cheat with the sweets, I'm excerising 5 days a week I lost 30 pound but it's been a year now and I haven't lost anymore so I decided to get help with surgery.
