I am 5.5 weeks post op and I just found out that I'm pregnant. Apparently the pill doesn't absorb correctly in your body after the surgery. I'm a little nervous and really hoping that it sticks but also not anticipating it to since my body is still healing from my surgery. They're going to monitor me very closely for nutritional deficiencies and checking on the weight of the baby but other than that they think I'll be fine. I had the same fear. I had dreams that the surgery didn't work for me. I'm 2 weeks post op now and guess what? I've lost 14 pounds! I weigh myself everyday expecting it to go up but it never does! Hey everyone! I'm currently 10 days post op and feeling loads better. I get really tired at different points in the day but this afternoon I was up for 3 hours cleaning my kitchen and cooking a bit. The pain is much better these last two days as well. I'm extremely tired of pureed foods. All I want is to chew something lol. I've also been searching for some different recipes that will help me mix things up a bit. What are/did you all eat during the month long baby food diet? I'm also struggling with not being able to pick up my 20 month old. I miss her so much! I have a 4 year old as well but she doesn't seem to be as affected as the toddler.
